We would like to ask the following questions: 1. Placement of the 47 CFR 15.19 statement Under the requirements of 47 CFR 15.19, for a device of this small size, may we place the required Part 15 warning/compliance statement in the user manual (or other documentation included in the package), instead of marking it directly on the product? 2. FCC ID labeling for the Pods Because the Pods are only 38 mm in diameter, the available space and visibility for printing an FCC ID on the Pod housing are limited due to the mechanical design. In addition, the Pods must be bound to the Host and cannot be used independently. In this case, may we display both FCC IDs on the Host back label (or Host nameplate), clearly distinguishing them, for example: Host/Controller FCC ID: XXXXXXXX Pod FCC ID: YYYYYYYY If you could provide guidance on the applicable rules and any acceptable labeling examples, it would be very helpful. Since both the Host and the Pods contain transmitters, each device will need to obtain its own certification and FCC ID, and both will also require a 15B digital authorization, either under SDoC procedure or the certification procedure. To get started, you can visit http://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea to find TCBs and test labs that specialize in these requirements and can help confirm the applicable rules. Additionally, you will need to obtain a grantee code, which can be completed online by referring to KDB publication 204515.
