Installation Insert the memory card Ensure the camera is turned off. Hold the memory card in the orientation shown, slide it into the card slot until you hear a click. - 7 - Memory card must be formatted before first use. To format the microSD card in camera: Pause recording first, press the button to enter camera menu settings, scroll down to find the "Format" option and press OK to format the memory card. 1. We suggest you use the microSD card included as it fits the camera well and can be worked for long term. 2. Please be aware that memory cards have their own lifespan. After extensive use of continuous data writing, they may become inoperable. When it stops working, please choose a microSD card that has Class-10 or UHS-I rating and the capacity is up to 512GB. 3. We suggest formatting the card periodically to ensure the best performance of the camera. Formatting the card will erase all data permanently, please back up important data beforehand. 4. Please do not take the card out when the camera is recording in case of important video files missing. Remove the memory card Format the memory card Note Ensure that the camera is turned off, and then push the edge of the memory card with your fingernail. The card will spring out far enough to be removed. - 8 - 1. Push the GPS mount into the main unit. 2. Attach the double sided adhesive tape to the bracket and tear off the protective film. 2.2 Install The GPS Mount - 9 - 1. Wipe clean the surface of the windscreen before installation. 2. Peel the blue sign protective film off the static sticker, then attach the sticker to the windscreen. Press it for a few seconds, making sure no bubbles are left. 3. Peel the protection film off the sticky pad on the mount, and attach it To the sticker. Press the camera hard for a few seconds, making sure it is attached firmly. 2.3 Install Static Sticker 1. Select a location on the windshield behind the rear-view mirror where the camera will not obstruct the driver's view while driving. 2.4 Front Camera - 10 - 2. Wipe clean the installation surface of the windscreen with a dry cloth, it must be grease free for the sticky pad to stick firmly. 3. Mount the dashcam directly to the windshield with the sticky pad, or attach the static sticker to the selected location before installation (refer to last step 2.3). 4. Peel the protection film off the sticky pad and camera lens. 5. Fix the camera on the selected location. 6. Connecting to Power. - 11 - 1 2 1. Select an installation location on the windscreen, without defrost grid wires, and where the camera can record the entire rear view. 2. Wipe clean the installation surface of the windscreen with a dry cloth. 3. Peel the protection film off the sticky pad and camera lens. 4. Fix the rear camera on the selected location. 5. Power off the product and connect the rear camera cable to the front camera (main unit). Cable routing should be as shown in the following two diagrams. 2.5 Rear Camera (For V77 / V78 Only) - 12 - 1 2 Recording will begin automatically after powering on with a microSD card in the device. Each recorded file is one minute long as a default and the old footage will be replaced when microSD card storage is full. Automatic emergency recording when the G-sensor is activated by a collision, the current footage will be locked automatically to avoid being overwritten by loop recording.
