Certification for Designating a U.S. Agent for Service of Process In compliance with section 2.911(d)(7), all applicants are required to appoint a U.S.-based contact to serve as their agent for service of process. This requirement applies to both domestic and foreign applicants. Entities located within the United States are permitted to designate themselves as their own agent for this purpose.
