USER MANUAL NextNuc13i5k Pro NextNuc13i7k Pro CAUTIONS Your NextNuc Mini PC is designed and tested to meet the latest standards of safety for information technology equipment. However, to ensure your safety, it is important that you read the following instructions. Setting up your system. - Read and follow all instructions in the documentation before you operate the system. - Do not use this product near water or a heat source. - Set up the system on a stable surface. - Openings on the chassis are for ventilation. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s Instructions. Package Contents Know Your NextNuc Mini PC Getting Started Connecting the AC power adapter to your NextNuc Mini PC: 1. Connect the DC Power connector to your Mini PC’s Power (DC IN) 2. Plug the AC power adapter into a 100v~240V power source. NOTE: The power adapter may vary in appearance, depending on the models and your region. Connecting a display monitor to your NextNuc Mini PC: 1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to an external display 2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your Mini PC’s HDMI Port. Connecting a keyboard and mouse to your NextNuc Mini PC: 1. You can generally connect any USB keyboard and mouse to your Mini PC. 2. You can also connect a USB dongle for a wireless keyboard and mouse set. Turning ON your NextNuc Mini PC: 1. Press the Power Button to turn on your Mini PC Turning OFF your NextNuc Mini PC: 1. If your Mini PC is unresponsive, press and hold the power button for at least four (4) ŜôèĺIJîŜϙŪIJťĖīϙƅĺŪŘϙaĖIJĖϙ„ϙťŪŘIJŜϙĺƯϟ Enter the BIOS Setup WARNING! BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) stores system hardware settings that are needed for system startup in the NextNuc Mini PC. MAKING BIOS CHANGES CAN SEVERELY CRIPPLE SYSTEM INTEGRITY – WHICH MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY. In normal circumstances, the default BIOS settings apply to most conditions to ensure optimal performance. Do not change the default BIOS settings except in the following circumstances: - An error message appears on the screen during the system bootup and requests you to run the BIOS Setup. - You have installed a new system component that requires further BIOS settings or updates. Inappropriate BIOS settings may result in instability or boot failure. We strongly recommend that you change the BIOS settings only with the help of trained service personnel. Loading default BIOS settings: 1. Enter the BIOS by pressing <F2> on the POST screen. 2. Enter Fast Boot by pressing <F12> on the POST screen. WARNING This equipment is not suitable for use in locations where children are likely to be present. The Warranty does not apply to products that have been disassembled by the users. Each NextNuc Mini PC has a unique Serial Number (SN code), which is located on the bottom of the product. When you need our after-sales support, please provide us with the SN code to ensure that you will receive our quick and accurate service.
