Locate the USB port in your car that supports wired CarPlay / wi red Android Auto (usually in the center console, glove box, or armrest box). Step 2: Phone Pairing Step 3: Indicator Light Status Tips 1. On your phone, turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. 2. In the Bluetooth device list, find and select “SmartAdapter_XXX X” (XXXX is your adapter’s unique ID). 3. When prompted: 4. Once connected, your car’s screen will automatically switch to the CarPlay / Android Auto interface. Only one phone can be connected at a time 2. Plug the adapter firmly into this USB port until fully inserted. 3. Your car’s screen should display the CarPlay or Android Auto logo, indicating the adapter is powered and ready. If still flashing, on your iPhone go to Settings → General and check if CarPlay is enabled. If not, enable CarPlay by turning on Siri and completing Siri setup. 1. Before entering the car, turn off Bluetooth on the currently connected phone. 2. On the other phone, manually connect Bluetooth to the adapter. 3. If both phones are in the car, disconnect Bluetooth and Wi-Fi rom the currently connected phone, then connect the other phone manually. For iPhone users → Select “Use CarPlay” For Android users → Select “Use Android Auto” Plug in the adapter first, then start the car ignition. a. Connect your phone to SmartAdapter_XXXX Wi-Fi. b. Open browser, go to 192.168.1.101. c. Click “Factory reset” on the settings page. d. Important: Do NOT unplug the adapter during reset. This process takes about 1 minute. Unplugging may cause serious errors. e. After reset, follow pairing steps in section 2.1 to reconnect. Make sure your phone has mobile data (4G/5G) enabled. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
