Model Similarity and Difference Letter Planar Motor Incorporated 1 218-6328 Larkin Drive – Vancouver, BC, V6T 2K2 – Canada planarmotor.com Federal Communications Commission Authorization and Evaluation Division 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21046 USA Date: May-11-2026 Ref: Model Similarity and Difference Letter FCC ID: 2BTRTS3 To Whom It May Concern: We, Planar Motor Incorporated, hereby declare that our product family of magnetic levitation stator modules (Flyways) sharing the FCC ID: 2BTRTS3 consists of multiple model numbers that are electrically identical. The models covered under this FCC ID are: β€’ S3-AS-04.08 - e.g., Base Model tested by lab] β€’ S3-XY-04.Z X can be A, G, or T (performance level); Y can be S or N (shape); Z can be 2, 6, or 8 (revision). Declaration of Similarity: All models listed above utilize the exact same printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), the same proprietary FPGA core logic, and the same TMS3705 RFID reader IC. Most importantly, the 134.2 kHz intentional radiator RF circuitry, including the antenna design, matching network, and component layout, is 100% identical across all models. Declaration of Differences: The only differences between the model numbers are the external physical dimensions, shape, and weight of the outer metallic casing, which are varied to accommodate different industrial payload requirements for our OEM partners and customers. RF Emissions Justification: The variations in the external casing shape do not affect the RF characteristics of the device. The intentional 134.2 kHz emissions dissipate to zero before reaching the periphery of the smallest product shape in this family. Because the antenna design remains constant and the radiated field does not interact with the outer casing boundaries, the physical dimensional changes of the larger models have no influence on the system's emission profile or compliance. The test results from the representative model S3-AS-04.08 are entirely applicable and representative of the worst-case emissions for all models listed in this family. RF Exposure Info

RF EXPOSURE EVALUATION REPORT For Equipment: S3 Flyway Model Number: S3-xS-04.08 FCC ID: 2BTRTS3 Date: August 31, 2026 1. Introduction This report provides an RF exposure evaluation for the RFID transmitter incorporated in the Equipment Under Test (EUT), S3 Flyway. The evaluation is performed with reference to 47 CFR Β§1.1307, 47 CFR Β§1.1310, and applicable FCC/OET RF exposure guidance, including KDB Publication 447498. For operating frequencies between 100 kHz and 300 kHz, FCC/OET RF exposure guidance specifies that the MPE limits at 300 kHz in Table 1 of Β§1.1310 are used for the exposure assessment. Accordingly, the applicable comparison values are 614 V/m for electric-field strength and 1.63 A/m for magnetic- field strength. 2. EUT RF Transmitter and Antenna Configuration The RF transmitter and antenna configuration are summarized below. Parameter Description Operating frequency 132 kHz RF transmitter IC TMS3705EDRQ1 Antenna type PCB loop antenna Series capacitor 100 nF Antenna driver UCC27524DSDR Driver supply voltage 12 V DC Minimum separation distance 30 cm Maximum measured field strength 53.4 dBΞΌV/m at 3 m 3. Applicable RF Exposure Criteria The EUT operates at approximately 132 kHz, which is within the 100 kHz to 300 kHz frequency range addressed by FCC/OET RF exposure equipment-authorization guidance. KDB 447498 identifies the RF exposure policy for 100 kHz < f ≀ 300 kHz as using the MPE limits at 300 kHz in Table 1 of Β§1.1310. The corresponding limits are: Exposure parameter General Population / Uncontrolled Limit Electric-field strength, E 614 V/m Magnetic-field strength, H 1.63 A/m Averaging time 30 minutes The FCC Β§1.1310 Table 1 itself lists the 614 V/m and 1.63 A/m values beginning at 0.3 MHz; the extension of these values to the 100–300 kHz range is specified by the applicable FCC/OET RF exposure policy. For this evaluation, the general-population/uncontrolled exposure criteria are considered appropriate because the EUT may be accessible to persons who are not specifically trained or controlled with respect to RF exposure. 4. RF Exposure Assessment The EUT was operated under the applicable maximum RF transmission condition during the radiated emission measurement. The maximum measured electric-field strength at a distance of 3 m was: 65 ν‘‘ν΅νœ‡ν‘‰/ν‘š The measured field strength was converted to 퐸 3ν‘š =0.00178 푉/ν‘š For reference, the measured electric field at 3 m can be compared with the applicable electric-field criterion of 614 V/m: ν‘… 퐸 = 0.00178 614 ν‘… 퐸 =2.9Γ—10 βˆ’6 or: ν‘… 퐸 =0.00029% Conclusion: The measured electric-field strength at 3 m is substantially below the applicable FCC/OET electric-field exposure limit.
