USB-C Male to Lightning Male version Lightning Male for iPhone 14 and previous models USB-C Male with indicator light How to use? Pair our Bypass as a headset with the motorcycle before attempt to start CarPlay or Android Auto. 1. Plug the into the charging port on your bike. The indicator light will flash.end with indicator 2. On the bike, press the menu button go up to settings device. Settings >Device Manager> Add New Device > Searching “Headset Bypass”>Verify and make sure pick rider role. The indicator will remain on constantly.Then, 3-5 seconds later, CarPlay / Android Auto icon should illuminate. For wireless CarPlay / Android Auto 2. On the bike, press the menu button go up to settings device. Settings >Device Manager> Add New Device > Searching “Headset Bypass”>Verify and make sure pick rider role. For wired CarPlay / Android Auto 2. Plug the other end into your phone. Then, CarPlay / Android Auto icon should illuminate. 3-5 seconds later, Important Note: 1. For wired CarPlay / Android Auto, you must plug the end with indicator into the data port on your bike first, then plug the other end into your phone. Otherwise, CarPlay / Android Auto will not be activated. 2. It will only work set as rider role. 3. For Gold Wing, set as follows: Audio setting>General setting>iPod>Apple CarPlay Reset: Deleting your iPhone from the bike in Device Manager and then on your iPhone -Settings- Bluetooth - Delete the HD-Ride### and finally on your iPhone - Settings - General - CarPlay - Delete the HD-ride connection there. Then in devices manager add device. On your iPhone - Settings - Bluetooth - add the bike, allow for any prompts. Your iPhone should prompt to enable wireless CarPlay and then start CarPlay. 4. It can't convert Wired CarPlay to Wireless CarPlay, the infotainment system must already support Wireless CarPlay and Bluetooth headset connectivity. Charging you phone via our activator cable While using CarPlay / Android Auto, it can also charge your phone. No need to worry about battery issues. More importantly, you don't need to equip a separate charging cable. Less switching, more stable connection. If you have successfully activated Carplay /Android Auto for the first time. In the future, activator will automatically connect within 5 seconds after each start of your bike.
