Issue Description of Change Date of Issue 1 First Issue 2026-February-24 1.2 Purpose The purpose of the document is to report the RF exposure evaluation of the FC-MX2 in accordance with FCC 47 CFR Part 2.1093. 1.3 General Information Applicant: Future Cardia, Inc. Device Category: Portable Environment: General Population/Uncontrolled Exposure Test Specification/Issue/Date: US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR): Title 47, Part 1, Subpart I: Procedures Implementing the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, 2025. US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR): Title 47, Part 2, Subpart J: Equipment Authorization Procedures, 2025. 1.4 Device under Test (DUT) Description The EUT is an Insertable Cardiac Monitor System (ICM). Insertable cardiac monitors (ICMs) are implanted under the skin on the left side of a patient’s chest to provide continuous long-term heart rhythm monitoring and identify or exclude arrhythmias as the cause of symptoms. The EUT includes a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio. 1.5 Technical Information FCC ID: 2BUWJ-FCICM100 Transmission Protocol: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Frequency: 2402 - 2480 MHz Antenna Type: Monopole Antenna Gain: -9.61 dBi Maximum RF Output Power -0.46 dBm Exposure Conditions: ≤ 5 mm (implantable device) Document Number: NC721005002.6 | Issue: 1 COMMERCIAL-IN-CONFIDENCE Page 4 of 5 2 Evaluation Details 2.1 Specific Requirements FCC 47 CFR Part 1.1307 Actions that may have a significant environmental effect, for which Environmental Assessments (EAs) must be prepared. 1.1307 (b)(3)Determination of exemption. (i) For single RF sources (i.e., any single fixed RF source, mobile device, or portable device, as defined in paragraph (b)(2) of this section): A single RF source is exempt if: (A) The available maximum time-averaged power is no more than 1 mW, regardless of separation distance. This exemption may not be used in conjunction with other exemption criteria other than those in paragraph (b)(3)(ii)(A) of this section. Medical implant devices may only use this exemption and that in paragraph (b)(3)(ii)(A); (B) Or the available maximum time-averaged power or effective radiated power (ERP), whichever is greater, is less than or equal to the threshold Pth (mW) described in the following formula. This method shall only be used at separation distances (cm) from 0.5 centimeters to 40 centimeters and at frequencies from 0.3 GHz to 6 GHz (inclusive). Pth is given by: 푃 푡ℎ = { 퐸푅푃 20 푐푚 ( 푑 20 푐푚) 푥 푑 ≤20 푐푚 퐸푅푃 20 푐푚 20 푐푚<푑 ≤40 푐푚 Where 푥= −푙표푔 10 ( 60 퐸푅푃 20 푐푚 √ 푓 ) 푎푛푑 푓 푖푠 푖푛 퐺퐻푧; And 퐸푅푃 20 푐푚 ( 푚푤 ) = { 2040푓 0.3 퐺퐻푧 ≤푓 <1.5 퐺퐻푧 3060 1.5 퐺퐻푧 ≤푓 <6 퐺퐻푧 푑=푡ℎ푒 푠푒푝푎푟푎푡푖표푛 푑푖푠푡푎푛푐푒 (푐푚) (C) Or using Table 1 and the minimum separation distance (R in meters) from the body of a nearby person for the frequency (f in MHz) at which the source operates, the ERP (watts) is no more than the calculated value prescribed for that frequency. For the exemption in Table 1 to apply, R must be at least λ/2π, where λ is the free-space operating wavelength in meters. If the ERP of a single RF source is not easily obtained, then the available maximum time-averaged power may be used in lieu of ERP if the physical dimensions of the radiating structure(s) Document Number: NC721005002.6 | Issue: 1 COMMERCIAL-IN-CONFIDENCE Page 5 of 5 do not exceed the electrical length of λ/4 or if the antenna gain is less than that of a half-wave dipole (1.64 linea…

1.3.2 Test Configuration The EUT (Equipment Under Test) was configured to operate in a continuous transmission mode @ 0 dBm to evaluate the antenna radiation patterns. To ensure consistency across the technical documentation, the device was tested on Low (2402 MHz) Middle (2440 MHz) and High (2480 MHz) channels The unit's internal power settings and software configurations were maintained exactly as specified during the Radiated Spurious Emissions and Conducted Output Power testing according to the manufacturer and (NC721005002.4 Issued February 2026 by TUV SUD America). No modifications were made to the power levels or the operational firmware between these test cases to ensure the radiation pattern results are representative of the device's standard performance. 1.4 Test Location TÜV SÜD conducted the following tests at our San Diego Test Laboratory.
