Button Description Key FOB Instruction Manual Page | 4 2 BATTERY 2.1 BATTERY TYPE The Key FOB uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. See Figure 2. Exact battery appearance may vary. Figure 2. CR2032 battery. 2.2 BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS 2.2.1 Battery Removal Steps 1. Remove the Endcap. Hold the FOB in one hand while pressing down on the endcap removal tab. Grab hold of the battery tray with two fingers and remove the battery tray. Figure 4. Removal of the battery tray with battery. 3. The battery may now be removed from the tray and a new battery installed. 2.2.2 Battery Installation Steps To install a battery, place a CR2032 battery into the tray with the positive side (larger, smooth surface with the writing) down into the tray as pictured in Figure 4. Then, simply reverse the steps from the previous section.
