Details ofwhichcan befound onoursupportpage, alongwith further information on how to maintain your vehicle. Cleaning Clean and dry your Bo M regularly. Not only will this keep your Bo M looking awesome, but it also helps stave off any unwanted corrosion. Use regular car bodywork cleaning kit, avoiding anything abrasive that will damage the paintwork. YourBoMis designedtobeusedin allweatherconditionswithan IP66rated electricalsystem, so do not let the wet weatherstop you from enjoying your Bo M. You should, however, avoid full or partialsubmersion. RoutineMaintenance Perform the following checks regularly: •Tyrepressure. •Front and rear axle fasteners (for more information on how to do this, check out the next section on removing the wheels). Over time these fasteners may loosen and need to be tightened. •Drumbrakeperformance. 34 Drum Brake Maintenance YourBo Muses a sealed drum brake which is superreliable and requires little maintenance. If you feel like they are not performing correctly, this may be a reduction in braking force or a strange noise, let our customer support team know and wewill help diagnose and sort the issue.You may findthat the brakecablehasslippedandneedstobere-adjusted.Forinformation onhowto adjust your drum brake head, check out the ‘Reinstalling your front wheel’ section on page 42. Yourfront wheel has bearings eitherside where it mounts into the front fork. It is important to lubricate thesewith awater-dispelling lubricant suchas GT85. Placethe nozzleof the canisternear thebearingandapplyashortsquirtto thebearingoneachsideof thewheel.Toprevent squeaksor wear aim to carry this out every 400-500km, more regularly when riding in wet weather. BatteryCare YourBo Mhasa672Whlithium-ion battery,which givesyou upto50kmof range.Togetthemost out of your battery’s performance, follow these care guidelines. •TurnyourBo Moff before chargingthe battery. •Chargeyour Bo M in a clean and dry environment. •Unplugthe chargerfrom the socket first,andthenfromyour BoM. •Do notuse3rdpartycharging accessories. •Avoidcharginginextreme temperatures.Ideallyonlychargethebatteryintemperatures between 5°C and 40°C. •Do not leave your Bo M unattended while charging. •Givethebatteryafull chargeatleastonce a month,especially ifyou areonly usingyourBoM infrequently.
