Soulog Sense User Guide Capture the moment. Connect the context. Move ideas forward. 1. Meet Your Soulog Sense The box includes Soulog Sense, a magnetic card holder, a magnetic adapter ring, and a USB-C to USB-C cable. The magnetic card holder attaches directly to the device. If your phone or case does not support magnetic attachment, apply the magnetic adapter ring to the back of your phone or case before attaching the device. Use the included USB-C cable to charge the device or import recordings through Soulog Desktop. Before using the device, download the Soulog App. 2. Set Up Your Device Charge the device before first use. Connect the included USB-C cable to the device and a compatible USB-C power source. The green light breathes while charging and stays on when charging is complete. Open the Soulog App and follow the on-screen instructions. Turn on Bluetooth and allow the requested permissions so the App can find and connect to your device. For first power-on, press and hold the Echo Back Button (). A long vibration means the device is on and in standby mode. In the Soulog App, choose Add Device and follow the on-screen instructions. Keep the device close to your phone until setup is complete. If the App cannot find your device, check that it has enough battery and that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. 3. Know the Controls Use the front controls for recording, Echo Back Recording, and Soulog AI. Recording Switch ❸ •Slide up: Start recording. If the device is off, it turns on and starts recording. •Slide down: Stop and save the recording. The device goes into standby mode. •Press and hold while the device is off: Turn on the device. Echo Back Button ❶ •Press once during recording: Mark a highlight. •Press and hold: Save up to the past 30 minutes with Echo Back Recording. •Press and hold while the device is off: Turn on the device. Soulog AI Button ❷ •Press once: Capture the current phone screen, including long or scrolling screenshots when available. •Press and hold: Open Soulog and begin a conversation with Soulog AI. To turn off the device, make sure the Recording Switch (❸) is down, then press and hold the Echo Back Button and Soulog AI Button together. A long vibration confirms power-off. This operation is disabled during recording to prevent accidental shutdown. The device uses three colored lights (❹) to communicate its current state. 4. Capture What Matters Soulog Sense captures more than recordings. Use it to record now, save a conversation that just happened, mark important moments, or capture screen context from your phone. Always use the device responsibly, and follow local recording and consent requirements. Record Now To record now, slide the Recording Switch (❸)up. If the device is off, it turns on and starts recording automatically. A short vibration and the orange breathing light confirm recording has started. Press the Echo Back Button (❶) once during recording to mark a highlight; a short vibration confirms it. Pause and resume an active recording in the Soulog App. The orange light turns off while paused and breathes again when recording resumes. Slide the Recording Switch down to stop and save. A short vibration confirms the recording has been saved. Use Echo Back Recording If you forgot to start recording before something happened, press and hold the Echo Back Button (❶) while the device is on. Two short vibrations mean Echo Back Recording has saved up to the past 30 minutes of audio. While the device is on, it maintains a temporary 30-minute audio buffer for Echo Back Recording. Unsaved audio in this buffer is continuously overwritten and is cleared when the device is turned off. If the device has been on for less than 30 minutes, Echo Back Recording saves all available audio since power-on. Capture Your Screen To capture what is on your phone, press the Soulog AI Button (❷) once. The device captures the current screen, including long or scrolling screenshots when available. Continue in the Soulog App to use the captured content for AI analysis. 5. What Happens After You Capture When the device is connected to your phone through Bluetooth, recordings transfer to the Soulog App automatically. Screen captures continue in the Soulog App for AI analysis. Keep the device and phone near each other during transfer. After a successful transfer, the local copy is automatically deleted from the device to free storage space. The transferred recording remains available in the Soulog App. After the audio reaches the App, Soulog turns it into searchable text. Highlights appear on the timeline, so you can return to important moments quickly. Choose a template in the Soulog App to create a structured result, such as a concise summary, key topics, decisions, action items, or another useful view of the conversation. Recording works offline. Audio remains on the device until it can be transferred to the Soulog App. Transcription, summaries, and other AI features are completed in the App and require the Soulog App to be connected to the internet. You can also export recordings to a computer. Connect the device with the included USB-C cable, then open Soulog Desktop on Windows or macOS and Follow the instructions. 6. Build on What You Capture Soulog Sense helps you capture recordings, highlights, and screen context in the moment. Once your content is in the Soulog App, you can continue with AI features, templates, and on-screen guidance to review what you captured, understand the context, and turn it into useful next steps. 7. Charge Safely and Get Help Use the included USB-C cable with a compatible USB-C power source to charge the device. The cable can also connect the device to Soulog Desktop for importing recordings. Do not disconnect the cable while a recording transfer or firmware update is in progress. Keep Soulog Sense and its accessories dry. Protect the device from fire, excessive heat, crushing, puncture, and other physical damage. Stop using it if it becomes unusually …
