CAUTION To avoid personal injury or property damage, observe the following: 1. Do not deep fat fry in oven. Fat could overheat and be hazardous to handle. 2. Do not cook or reheat eggs in shell or with an unbroken yolk using microwave energy. Pressure may build up and erupt. Pierce yolk with fork or knife before cooking. 3. Pierce skin of potatoes, tomatoes, and similar foods before cooking with microwave energy. When skin is pierced, steam escapes evenly. 4. Do not operate oven without load or food in oven cavity. 5. Use only popcorn in packages designed and labeled for microwave use. Popping time varies depending on oven wattage. Do not continue to heat after popping has stopped. Popcorn will scorch or burn. Do not leave oven unattended. 6. Do not use regular cooking thermometers in oven. Most cooking thermometers contain mercury and may cause an electrical arc, malfunction, or damage to oven. 7. Do not use metal utensils in oven. 8. Never use paper, plastic, or other combustible materials that are not intended for cooking. 9. When cooking with paper, plastic, or other com- bustible materials, follow manufacturer's recom- mendations on product use. 10. Do not use paper towels which contain nylon or other synthetic fibers. Heated synthetics could melt and cause paper to ignite. 11. Do not heat sealed containers or plastic bags in oven. Food or liquid could expand quickly and cause container or bag to break. Pierce or open container or bag before cooking. 12. To avoid pacemaker malfunction, consult physician or pacemaker manufacturer about effects of microwave energy on pacemaker. 3 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WARNING To avoid risk of electrical shock or death, this oven must be grounded and plug must not be altered. Grounding Instructions Oven MUST be grounded. Grounding reduces risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current if an electrical short occurs. This oven is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. See Installation Instructions. Consult a qualified electrician or servicer if grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the oven is properly grounded. Do not use an extension cord. If the product power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician install a three-slot receptacle. This oven should be plugged into a separate 60 hertz circuit with the electrical rating as shown in specifications table. When the oven is on a circuit with other equipment, an increase in cooking times may be required and fuses can be blown. Microwave operates on standard household current, 110- 120V. Federal Communications Commission Radio Frequency Interference Statement (U.S.A. Only) This equipment generates and uses ISM frequency energy and if not installed and used properly, that is in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, may cause interference to radio and television reception. 37 INSTRUCTIONS D’EXPLOITATION DU CAPTEUR La fonction Sensor Cook (Cuisson par capteur) vous permet de faire cuire la plupart de vos aliments favoris sans sélectionner des temps de cuisson et des niveaux de puissance. L’écran indique la période de détection initiale en analysant le nom de l’aliment. Le four détermine automatiquement le temps de cuisson requis pour chaque aliment. Lorsque le capteur détecte une certaine quantité d’humidité provenant de l’aliment, Il indique au four le temps de cuisson restant. Le cadran affiche le temps de cuisson restant. Pour des résultats optimaux lors de la cuisson par capteur, suivez ces recommandations: 1. L’aliment cuisiné avec le système de capteur doit être à température normale de stockage. 2. La plupart des aliments doivent toujours être recouverts d’un film plastique utilisable en four à micro- ondes, de papier paraffiné ou d’un couvercle. 3. Les aliments doivent toujours être couverts lâchement avec un film plastique utilisable en four à micro- ondes, du papier paraffiné ou un couvercle. 4. N’ouvrez pas la porte ou n’appuyez pas sur le bouton STOP/CLEAR (STOP/ANNULER) pendant la détection. Lorsque la détection est terminée, le four émet un bip et le temps de cuisson restant apparaît dans le cadran d’affichage. Vous pouvez alors ouvrir la porte pour mélanger, retourner ou repositionner les aliments. IMPORTANT: Lors de l’utilisation de la fonction Sensor Cook (Cuisson par capteur), le four doit refroidir pendant 5 minutes entre chaque cycle, sinon, la cuisson ne s’effectuera pas correctement. SENSOR COOKING GUIDE (GUIDE DE CUISSON PAR CAPTEUR) Manuel d’exploitation Des récipients et couvercles adaptés permettent d’assurer de bons résultats pour la cuisson par capteur. 1. Utilisez toujours des récipients pour four à micro-ondes et couvrez-les à l’aide d’un couvercle ou d’un film plastique percé. 2. N’utilisez jamais de couvercles en plastique hermétiques. Ils peuvent empêcher la vapeur de s’échapper, faisant ainsi trop cuire les aliments. 3. Adapter la quantité à la taille du récipient. Pour des résultats optimaux, remplissez le récipient au moins à moitié. 4. Assurez-vous que l’extérieur du récipient de cuisson et l’intérieur du four à micro-ondes sont secs avant de placer des aliments dans le four. Des gouttes d’humidité se transformant en vapeur peuvent induire le capteur en erreur. ADDING OR SUBTRACTING COOK TIME(AUGMENTER OU REDUIRE LE TEMPS DE CUISSON) En utilisant les boutons MORE (PLUS) ou LESS (MOINS), vous pouvez modifier tous les réglages de cuisson par capteur et de temps de cuisson, pour faire cuire les aliments pendant plus ou moins longtemps. POPCORN (POP-CORN) La fonction POPCORN (POP-CORN) vous permet de préparer du pop-corn préemballé spécial micro-ondes. Ne chauffez qu’un seul paquet à la fois. Pour des résultats optimaux, utilisez des sachets de pop-corn frais. Exemple : Pour faire du pop-corn. Appuyez sur le bouton POPCORN (POP- CORN). Lorsque le temps de cuisson s’est écoulé, vous entendez quatre bips et END (FIN) s’affiche. • Quantités recommandées: 80 à 100 g. ATTENTION • NE LAISSEZ PAS le four à micro- ondes sans surveillance lorsque vous faites du pop-corn. • Lorsque vous faites du pop-corn en paquets préemballés, retirez la grille du four ; ne placez pas le sachet de pop- corn spécial micro-ondes sur ou sous la grille. PIZZA SLICE (PART DE PIZZA) La fonction PIZZA SLICE (PART DE PIZZA) vous permet de réchauffer une ou plusieurs parts de pizza sans sélectionner des temps de cuisson et des niveaux de puissance. Exemple : TPour réchauffer 2 parts de pizza. Appuyez sur le bouton PIZZA SLICE (PART DE PIZZA) . Lorsque le temps de cuisson s’est écoulé, vous entendez quatre bips et END (FIN) s’affiche. • Quantités recommandées: 1 à 4 parts. REMARQUE: Si les aliments ne sont pas entièrement cuits ou réchauffés avec la fonction Sensor Cook (Cuisson par capteur), achevez la cuisson à l’aide des fonctions Power level (Niveau de puissance) et Cooking time (Temps de cuisson). N’UTILISEZ PLUS la touche Sensor (Cuisson par capteur). 38 Manuel d’exploitation BAKED POTATO (POMME DE TERRE AU FOUR) La fonction BAKED POTATO (POMME DE TERRE AU FOUR) vous permet de cuire au four une ou plusieurs pommes de terre sans sélectionner des temps de cuisson et des niveaux de puissance. REMARQUES: • Le temps de cuisson est basé sur un calibre de pomme de terre d’environ 250 g. • Utilisez les touches More(9)/Less(1) (Plus/Moins) si vous cuisez des pommes de terre plus grosses ou plus petites. • Avant la cuisson, piquez les pommes de terre plusieurs fois à l’aide d’une fourchette. • Si la pomme de terre n’est pas complètement cuite, utilisez la fonction Cooking Time (Temps de cuisson). While the oven was operating, the Microwave Survey Meter probe was moved slowly around the door seams to check for leakage. A 700 ml water load was placed in the center of the oven and the oven set to maximum power. A 700 ml water load was chosen for its compatibility. A 700 ml water load was placed in the center of the oven and the oven set to maximum power. A 700 ml water load was chosen for its compatibility.
