Users Manual

Insert the earbuds in the charging case and close it. Begin charging by connecting the USB cable to the charger port of the charging case. The batteries of the earbuds and the charging case will be charged simultaneously. Use only Samsung-approved chargers. • Chargers are sold separately. • Keep the charging case closed while you store or charge the earbuds, or when you charge the charging case. • If you touch the charging contacts while charging the charging case, it may affect charging. Connecting to a mobile device Insert the earbuds in the charging case, then close the charging case and open it. When the connection pop-up window appears, follow the mobile device’s on-screen instructions to complete the connection. You can install the Galaxy Wearable app and connect the earbuds to your mobile device by following the on-screen instructions. To use all the earbuds’ touch actions, launch the Galaxy Wearable app and activate the related features. Wearing the earbuds Check the direction of each earbud and insert them into your ears by holding them so that you see the imprinted direction marks. Adjust the earbuds until they fit comfortably in your ears. L • If your ears or earbuds are wet or have foreign materials on them, or if you have prolonged skin contact with the earbuds, it may result in skin irritation. Make sure that your ears and earbuds are clean and dry before wearing the earbuds. • If you experience any skin irritation while you are wearing the earbuds, stop wearing them immediately and consult a specialist. If the earbuds are not positioned correctly in your ears, features like calling through the earbuds may not work. Use a pair of ear tips that fit your ears and wear the earbuds properly. Follow the warnings below to prevent incidents, such as fires or explosions, injuries, or damage to the device • Your device contains magnets. Keep it away from credit cards, implanted medical devices, and other devices that may be affected by magnets. In the case of medical devices, keep your device more than 15 cm apart. Stop using your device if you suspect any interference with your medical device and consult your physician or your medical device manufacturer. • Do not expose the device or the battery to physical impact or damage. • Use only Samsung-approved battery, charger, and cable specifically designed for your device. • Prevent the charger port and charging contacts from coming into contact with foreign materials such as metal, liquids, or dust. • If any part of the device, such as the glass or acrylic body, is broken, smokes, or emits a burning odor, stop using the device immediately. Use the device again only after it has been repaired at a Samsung Service Centre or an authorized service centre. • Do not turn on or use the device when the battery compartment is exposed. • Do not disassemble or reuse the battery. • The device can be used in locations with an ambient temperature of 0 °C to 35 °C. You can store the device at an ambient temperature of -20 °C to 50 °C. Using or storing the device outside of the recommended temperature ranges may damage the device or reduce the battery’s lifespan. To prevent possible hearing damage when using a headset, do not listen to sound at high volume for long periods. • Do not wear your devices while swimming, playing water sports, or taking a shower. • Do not use the devices in places where the temperature is higher than the normal range or there is a lot of humidity, such as a sauna. • Do not drop the devices or subject it to a heavy impact. • Do not put the devices in a washing machine or dryer. If the devices are exposed to water or contaminants, follow the guidelines below: • If the devices are exposed to fresh water, dry them thoroughly by wiping them with a clean, soft cloth and shaking them to remove any water from the devices. • If the devices are contaminated with or exposed to any liquid other than fresh water, use them only after they have been repaired at a Samsung Service Centre or an authorized service centre. Information about the FHSS characteristics: 1.5.1. Pseudorandom Frequency Hopping Sequence The channel is represented by a pseudo-random hopping sequence hopping through the 79 RF channels. The hopping sequence is unique for the piconet and is determined by the Bluetooth device address of the master; the phase in the hopping sequence is determined by the Bluetooth clock of the master. The channel is divided into time slots where each slot corresponds to an RF hop frequency. Consecutive hops correspond to different RF hop frequencies. The nominal hop rate is 1 600 hops/s. 1.5.2. System Receiver Input Bandwidth Each channel bandwidth is 1 ㎒. The system receivers have input bandwidths that match the hopping channel bandwidths of their corresponding transmitters and shift frequencies in synchronization with the transmitted signals. 1.5.5.
