Replace battery cover onto unit. . CAUTION: Do not use alkaline batteries. . Bandit Buster@ recommends using quality rechargeable batteries ON LY. Ovlnerts Manual USING AC ADAPTERS . The unit can use standard 120v wall outlet, vehicle, boat, or RV AC plug-in. . To use the AC adapters, plug the connector on the cord into the AC adapter jack on the side of the unit. . Use only Bandit Buster@ adapters included in the unit. Do not use these adapters with any other device' r lf units do not work, make certain that the AC adapters are plugged into a working outlet. r lf electricity to the unit is lost, the unit will still operate via the rechargeable batteries for approximately 12-1 4 continuous hours. * Alert Options Earphone JACK Power and Low Battery lndicator Volume Transmitter lndicators "8" : \__/ \__/ \--l SETTING UP YOUR UNIT . Remove both units from the box and ensure both the transmitter(s) and receiver are set to ,,Off.,, o Remove the battery cover for the transmitter(s) using a Phillips screwdriver. . Remove the battery cover for the receiver by lowering the kickstand and remove the belt clip by spreading apart the sides of the clip to release it from the unit. Remove the battery cover using a Phillips screwdriver. r Install quality rechargeable A,A batteries to your units. DO NOT use alkaline batteries. o Replace the battery covers and reattach the belt clip. r Turn "On" both the transmitter(s) and the receiver. o The transmitte(s) will blink red and green until the unit is armed. This takes approximately 30 seconds. When the transmitter is armed the indicator light will stay solid green. o Set the transmitter(s) to either ',Alarm,, or ,,Silent.', Alarm lets the intruder know they are being monitored, while silent sounds no alarm and only alerts through the receiver. o Mount the transmitter(s) holster into desired location out of direct weather conditions. o Place the transmitter(s) in the holster. r Place your receiver where you can monitor sound activity, hear the PIR alarm, and/or see the sound bars. For best monitoring quality place the transmitter(s) and receiver facing one another, or as close to facing one another as possible. o You are now set up for real-time monitoring with Bandit Buster@. PAIRING THE UNITS . Units come paired from the factory. However, in the event that your units are not paired and ready for operation, follow these steps to pair your devices: o Turn both the receiver and the transmitter(s) ,Of+" then back "On." Wait for the indicator lights on the transmitter(s) to stop flashing. r For BB model 1941: '- Simultaneously hold the reset button on the back of the transmitter and the back of the receiver along with the Vol- button for approximately 4 seconds, - The receiver will flash green while your devices are pairing. - When pairing is complete your power indicator light will be solid green and your transmitter indicator light "A" will be solid yellow. - Your devices are paired dnd ready for operation. Owner's Manual r For BB model 1962: - Repeat steps for model number 1941 using the receiver and transmitter " A." - Your transmitter "A" is now paired, - To pair your transmitter "8" simultaneously hold the reset buttons on the back of the receiver, transmitter "B" and the Vol+ button. - The receiver will flash green while your devices are pairing. . - When the transmitter indicator light ,,8,, turns yellow and power indicator light is solid green your transmitter "B" is now paired and ready for operation. G ENERAL PRODUCT OPERATIONS o When the Bandit Buster@ is activated you will be able to instantly monitor your property through sound, sound light indicators, and PIR (passive infrared). o Sound monitoring is continuous. No alarm will sound unless the PIR detects motion. . When the PIR detects motion your receiver will alarm and/or vibrate. . Model 1962: Sound monitoring will continuously cycle between transmitter "A" and transmitter ,,8,, in 50 second increments. o lf either transmitter " A," or transmitter ,,B,, detects sound or the PIR of one of the transmitters detects motion, the receiver will instantly lock in to the transmitter where the sound or motion was detected. r To silence the receiver alarm, simultaneously hold the Vol- and Vol+ buttons for approximately two seconds. This does not deactivate the alarm; it only silences your receiver. . An alarm will sound for approximately 20 seconds. When the alarm stops, sound monitoring continues immediately. o The PIR will automatically reset within 30 seconds after the alarm is activated and turns off. * 2 BU$TE 1. 2.
