Please find our revised test report (No.: 22CE0008-YW-1) in the filling. We corrected item 4.2 in the report. 2) We uploaded it. Please find the revised photos in the filing. 3) Regarding to Carrier level, we performed the testing by no modulation because there was not the difference between modulation and no modulation. Please find the carrier data in the filing. 4) We uploaded it. Please find the revised photos in the filing. 5) The carrier level always becomes stable between 85 to 115 % of input voltage. Al so, the frequency di dnβt change. Please find the data in the filing. Kanako Sanda A-Pex Int ernational Co., Ltd.
American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 November 8, 2001 RE: Sony Corporation FCC ID: AK8TMRRF90 After a review of the submitted information, I have a few comments on the above referenced Application. 1) The test configuration photographs show that the audio cables were present during the test. Please update section 4.2 of the report to properly document this as well as to whether the input had any terminations. 2) Please provide a "close-up" photograph of the VCO portion of the transmitter (with the cover removed). It is not easy to distinguish components from the photograph already provided. 3) The EUT did not appear to have any external source for applying modulation to the unit during the test. Note that modulation may not be necessary if the unit was capable of supplying a normal transmitted carrier (reference ANSI C63.4, 13.1.1.1) without the input present. Please comment on whether or not the carrier level is affected by the fact that the modulation source was not present. 4) Please provide a clearer or higher resolution copy of the schematics. Portions of the schematic are difficult to read. 5) Please provide information regarding any change to the fundamental output radiated signal with respect to a variation of input voltage from 85% to 115% as specified by 15.31(e). Timothy R. Johnson Examining Engineer mailto: [email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued.
