Please confirm file number "Exhibit M1-Test Report_R1". #2: I got the following information from applicant. The applicant changes the specification of the product. The applicant does not commercialize the product used 608 - 614 MHz. Please confirm files, file number "Exhibit D1-Label_R1", "Exhibit E1-Technical_Descriptions_R1" and "Exhibit L1-Mannual_R1". #3: I got the following information from applicant. The product used 757.875 - 805.875 MHz has been approved before under FCC ID: AK8WRT807B. (Please confirm file number "Exhibit P1-FCC AUTHORIZATION".) The purpose is to expand the range of the use frequency of the approved product. #4: I changed the description of RF Power Output of the test report. Please confirm file number "Exhibit M1 Test Report_R1". Sincerely yours, Katsunori Miura -----Original Message----- Sent: Friday, September 08, 2006 5:59 PM Subject: Sony Corporation, FCC ID: AK8WRT807B1, Assessment NO.: AN06T6118, Notice#1 Question #1: The emission designator must include the necessary bandwidth 2M+2D, where M is the maximum modulation frequency (about 15 kHz) and D is the maximum deviation(40khz) both from the test data. In the test report, please provide actual number and indicate clearly where 110K comes from, not 2 just saying "from manufacturer". Question #2: 608-614MHz is a restricted band, this is not one of the authorized frequency bands specified in FCC74.802. The proposed FCC ID label format shows one model bears "590.125-613.875MHz", which violates the rule. Please verify whether the device is capable to operate within 608-614MHz. If the answer is Yes, this device may not be allowed to market in US, otherwise, please update your documents to clearly indicate the device can not be tuned in 608-614MHz. Please also provide mechanism how to achieve this. Question #3: The user manual in this filing indicates "Carrier frequency: 566.125 - 805.875MHz", but the device in this filing can only operate 566.125-757.875MHz. Please explain why there is discrepancy. Question #4: The test report does not indicate the measurement of RF power output is ERP or conducted. Please specify in the test report.
