Engineering Bulletin EBA-2000-28 DRAFT 3 of 105 ADIX Software Version 7.00 Installation Guide and Feature Description ADIX Software Version 7.00 Features Overview Redirected Number Routing Overview Some telephone companies provide Redirecting Number Identification (RNI) in their Setup messa ge. The Redirected Number is the directory number of forwarding party. This number is used by answerin g services to determine where the call was forwarded from. This allows the customer to ID the call with out havin g to purchase DID numbers for each client. The ADIX uses the RNI for routin g instead of the Called Party Number (DNIS) by setting an option in Class 04 Item 70. Conditions 1. This feature is used by both BRI and PRI lines. If two RNIs are contained in the Setup…

COMMUNICATION CERTIFICATION LABORATORY TEST REPORT: 73-7349 FCC ID: BD6ADIX-BS Page 77 of 80 Exhibit 12 Exhibit 12: Operational Description § 15.203 Antenna Requirements The IX-BS5 uses two Dipole antennas that connect to the main board via coax cable using special connectors. The same type as specified by the manufacturer can only replace these antennas; therefore, it meets the requirements of this section. The IX-BS5 contains two antennas for diversity purposes, only one antenna transmits during normal operation. § 15.307 Coordination with fixed microwave service Enclosed on the following page is the UTAM affidavit stating compliance to this section. COMMUNICATION CERTIFICATION LABORATORY TEST REPORT: 73-7349 FCC ID: BD6ADIX-BS Page 76 of 80 Exhibit 11 Exhibit 11: RF Exposure/Environmental Evaluation Section 15.319 (i) Requirement: Unlicensed PCS devices are subject to the radiofrequency radiation exposure requirements specified in § 1.1307(b), 2.1091 and 2.1093 of this chapter, as appropriate. All equipment shall be considered to operate in a “general population/uncontrolled” environment. Applications for equipment authorization of devices operating under this section must contain a statement confirming compliance with these requirements for both fundamental emissions and unwanted emissions. Technical information showing the basis for this statement must be submitted to the Commission upon request. Demonstration of Compliance: The IX-BS5 is classified as a mobile device, which is installed so that a minimum separation distance of 20 centimeters is maintained between the transmitter’s radiating structure and the body of the user or nearby persons, and the ERP of the IX-BS5 is less than 3 watts. Therefore, the IX-BS5 is categorically excluded from routine environmental evaluation for RF exposure as per § 2.1091(c). The installation manual contains the following statement to instruct the installer that the 20 centimeter separation distance must be maintained in order to comply with the RF exposure requirement. Warning: Note to installers: In order to comply with the FCC RF exposure requirements the base station must be installed with a minimum separation distance of 20 cm from the antennas to the user or nearby persons. The base station contains two antennas for diversity purposes, only one antenna transmits during normal operation.
