FCC ID: BLD0766TX Circuit Description The 433MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q1 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by IC (IM8706). The output of Q1 has the matching network consisting of L2 and C5 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source There is no external antenna. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 3 Volt (“AAA” size battery x 2) primary battery

Measurements in both horizontal and vertical polarities were performed. During the test, each emission was maximized by: having the EUT continuously working, investigate all operating modes, rotated about all 3 axis (X, Y & Z) to obtain worst position, manipulating interconnecting cables, rotating turntable, varying antenna height from 1m to 4m in both horizontal and vertical polarization. The emissions worst-case are shown in Test Results of the following pages. *:OATS [Open Area Test Site] located at HKSTC with a metal ground plane on filed with the FCC pursuant to section 2.948 of the FCC rules, with Registration Number: 90657. 1 Marianne Bosley From: Marianne Bosley Sent: Thursday, October 31, 2002 10:17 PM To: '[email protected]' Subject: General Electric Co Metrak #12976 FCC ID:BLD0776TX Hi Alice, The questions that surfaced from the technical review are below: RT Questions: 1. Does the EUT cease transmission, as required by Sections 15.231(a)(1) and (2), for both automatic activation AND manual activation, as described in the user’s manual during manual registration with the receiver? 2. 3 separate available channels are listed in the user’s manual, but only one was tested. What are the frequencies of the other 2 channels? Do they need to be tested? (see Section 15.31(m)). 3. While schematics for the receiver and base unit were submitted, schematics for the EUT (transmitter) were apparently not. Please submit them. 4. FYI- in the future, please use a lower RBW (e.g., 10kHz) to measure the 20 dB bandwidth. Please forward as soon as possible. Have a good day. Regards, Marianne

The transmit period is 737.5 msec as shown in figure. 2) EUT have 3 channels switch. That function is send different registration code for three receiver (max) to our testing, we would choice worst cases (channel 1) record result on the test report. 3) Please see attached file for clearly circuit, if have any question please let me know. Thanks.
