American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 December 29, 2004 RE: FCC ID: DNHXC-001-XT_ATCB002040 Attention: Yukari Ito I have a few comments on this Application. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the report (page 4) says 38.7dB peak and 87.4dB average. These numbers do not agree with the table limits in 15.245. Please recalculate and correct as necessary. 2. Please explain where you got the limit of 107dBuV/m for the 5262.500MHz spurious emissions listed on pages 12 and 13 of the report. This does not calculate to any of the specified values in the table or paragraphs in 15.245. Please explain and/or correct as necessary. 3. Please note that on pages 14 and 15 of the report you state the limit are 97.5dBuV/m and 77.5dBuV/m. However please note that 25mv is 87.9dBuV/m not 77.5dBuV/m. Thus the peak limit would be 107.9dBuV/m and the average would be 87.9dBuV/m Please explain your calculations for the frequencies in the emissions tables and please correct as necessary. 4. Please review your calculations for limits in the report and explain and/or correct as necessary. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Date: January 5, 2005 RE: ALEPH INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION FCC ID: DNHXC-001-XT Dear Mr. Dennis Ward, Regarding the above referenced application, please find our reply to your comments dated December 29, 2004: 1) The numbers on page 4 of test report are not the test data of peak and average, but margins to the limits. [15.242 Average limit 127.9dBuV/m (2500mV/m), 15.35(b) Peak limit 147.9dBuV/m] Please see page 14 and 15 for the actual test data. 2) The limit on page 12 and 13 of test report was not correct. We will modify it to 50dBc based on 15.245 (3), or 15.209. 3) Tested frequency, 21044MHz (Second harmonics) falls under β€œharmonic emission in the restricted bands above 17.7GHz” specified in 15.245(b)(1), and therefore we apply average limit: 77.5dBuV/m (7.5mV/m) in 15.245(b)(1)(ii) and peak limit: 97.5dBuV/m in 15.35(b). If there are any problems with the above reply, please let us know. Best regards, Yukari Ito (Ms.) UL Apex Co., Ltd.
