iBN97A instruction manual iBN97 IB Size: 153mm x 120mm Printing color: Black Aug. 6, 13. P1 NFC Bluetooth Wireless FM Clock Radio with USB Charging iBN97A Introduction Thank you for purchasing the iHome iBN97A. This product is designed to provide high quality wireless sound for your iPad, iPhone, iPod, computer, or other Bluetooth audio device. The dual alarms on this iHome clock radio can be set and used independently, so you can program each alarm to wake you up to a paired Bluetooth device, 4 separate alarm tones, the FM stereo radio, or a buzzer alarm. You may set each alarm for weekday, weekend, or everyday operation, and even adjust the alarm volume separately from your normal listening volume. And best of all, even if the power is out at your selected wake up time, the SureAlarm battery backup system will still activate the electronic buzzer alarm to get you up on time. Along with the included Quick Bluetooth Connection Guide this instruction booklet explains the basic operation and care of the unit. Please read them carefully and keep for future reference. This unit features NFC (near field communication) technology which allows you to wirelessly connect your NFC–enabled device to instantly ‘pair and play’. See your device’s user manual for details on how to interact with NFC devices. If your Bluetooth device does not support NFC, you can pair it manually with this unit. • Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat. • Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood and lacquered finish. A cloth or other protective material should be placed between it and the furniture. • Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. FCC ID: EMOIBN97A Portable device According to §15.247(e)(i) and §1.1307(b)(1), systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. According to KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance V05 The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] * [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR, where f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz; Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation; The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison; The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. We use 5mm as separation distance to calculate. Maximum measured transmitter power: Transmit Frequency (GHz) Mode Max Conducted Power (dBm) Result calculation 1-g SAR 2.402 GFSK 0.94 0.385 3.0 2.441 GFSK 2.46 0.551 3.0 2.480 GFSK 1.71 0.467 3.0 2.402 1/4ΠDQPSK -1.55 0.22 3.0 2.441 1/4ΠDQPSK 0.72 0.37 3.0 2.480 1/4ΠDQPSK -0.21 0.30 3.0 2.402 8DPSK -1.57 0.22 3.0 2.441 8DPSK 0.93 0.39 3.0 2.480 8DPSK -0.02 0.31 3.0 Conclusion: For the max result : 0.551≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR extremity SAR, No SAR is required.
