When using your equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury, including the following: 1. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product. 2. Adult setup is required. 3. CAUTION: Do not install the camera at a height above 2 meters. 4. This product is not a substitute for adult supervision of the infant. Supervising the infant is the parent’s or caregiver’s responsibility. This product could cease operating, and therefore you should not assume it will continue working properly for any given period of time. Further, this is not a medical device and should not be used as such. This product is intended to assist you in supervising your baby. 5. Do not use this product near water. For example, do not use it next to a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub or swimming pool, or in a wet basement or shower. 6. Use only the adapters included with this product. The power adapters are intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position. The prongs are not designed to hold the plug in place if it is plugged into a ceiling, under-the- table or cabinet outlet. 8. For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. 9. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. 10. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Do not cut off the power adapters to replace them with other plugs, as this causes a hazardous situation. 11. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cords. Do not install this product where the cords may be walked on or crimped. 12. This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply in your home, consult your dealer or local power company. 13. Do not overload wall outlets or use an extension cord. 14. Do not place this product on an unstable table, shelf, stand or other unstable surfaces. 15. This product should not be placed in any area where proper ventilation is not provided. Slots and openings in the back or bottom of this product are provided for ventilation. To protect them from overheating, these openings must not be blocked by placing the product on a soft surface such as a bed, sofa or rug. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat register. 16. Never push objects of any kind into this product through the slots because they may touch dangerous voltage points or create a short circuit. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. 17. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this product, but take it to an authorized service facility. Opening or removing parts of the product other than specified access doors may expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks. Incorrect reassembling can cause electric shock when the product is subsequently used. 18. You should test the sound reception every time you turn on the units or move one of the components. 19. Periodically examine all components for damage. 20. There is a very low risk of privacy loss when using certain electronic devices, such as cameras, cordless telephones, etc. To protect your privacy, make sure the product has never been used before purchase, reset the camera periodically by powering off and then powering on the units, and power off the camera if you will not use it for some time. 21. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product. 22. The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. The EUT is powered by a 5VDC AC/DC adaptor. WiFi Module Antenna Type: Internal, Integral Antenna Gain: 1 dBi Operating mode Range of Peak Modulation Conducted Power Type WLAN portion 802.11b 11dBm to 24dBm DSSS 802.11g 11dBm to 24dBm OFDM 802.11n (HT20) 11dBm to 24dBm MCSn (n=0 to 7) 802.11n (HT40) Not use MCSn (n=0 to 7) For Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) evaluation of the unit, the maximum power density at 20 cm from this transmitter shall be less than the General Population / Uncontrolled MPE limit in OET Bulletin 65 and meet the requirement listed in KDB447498. For the WiFi portion of the unit, the measured powers among all the measured channels were within its production tolerance. The antenna gain is 1 dBi = 1.26 (num gain) and its maximum source-based time-averaging duty factor is 100%. From these data and its operating configuration, the exposed power density at a distance (R) of 20 cm from the center of radiation of the antenna can be calculated according to OET Bulletin 65 as follow: The EIRP radiated power = conducted power (with maximum tolerance) + antenna gain = 24 dBm + 1 dBi = 25 dBm (316.2 mW) The radiated (EIRP) source-based time-averaging output power = (316.2 * 1) mW = 316.2 mW The power density at 20 cm from the antenna = EIRP / 4πR^2 = 0.063 mW cm-2 In the frequency range of 1,500 - 100,000MHz, the MPE limit is 1.0 mWcm-2 for general population and uncontrolled exposure. As the measured power density at 20cm from the transmitter is lower than the MPE limit, the compliance to the MPE limit can be ensured by indicating the minimum 20cm separation between the transmitter's radiating structures and body of the user or nearby persons. The following RF exposure statement is proposed to be included in the user manual: “ FCC RF Radiation Exposure Statement Caution: To maintain compliance with the FCC’s RF exposure guidelines, place the unit at least 20cm from nearby persons.”
