Operational Description

VTECH Engineering Canada Ltd. VTECH VT3921 โ€“ Cordless PABX Description VT 3921 is a home and small business cordless telephone system. The system combines a multi-featured phone system and a fax and modem switching network into one unit. It supports 3 telephone company lines, 1 internal line and 14 stations. All of the stations are connected together on a shared wire like the telephone wire that exists in the walls of most homes. The system greets callers with an electronic voice receptionist at which point the caller can dial an extension number of a particular station. Incoming fax calls are automatically transferred to the fax machine without user intervention. The system includes business telephone features like hold, call transfer, call pick-up, toll-restriction, speed-dialing and many other useful feature. Built-in the system is the 3 independent transreceivers which can communicate with 3 handsets under the 900MHz band. These are equivalent to combine three 900MHz cordless phones onto a PABX system. The handsets has the FCC ID : EW780-4042-00 which were approved under the category of 900MHz telephone. Since the controller unit has 3 transreceiver (900MHz), new approval is required under this application (assigned FCC ID is EW780-4290-00).
