APPLICANT: ABC LTD. FCC ID: Circuit Description Q3, D1 and D2 forms the oscillation which the modulation from IC- EM78P458 drives into the base of Q3. Q2 and T2 form the amplifier network for the signal and Q1 forms the matching network with L0, C1 T1 and C2 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground, and Power Source The antenna is unique and consists of a 1m long telescoping chrome over brass tubing. There is no external ground connection. Tune Up and Alignment Procedure This information is not for the general users as the alignment is preset in the factory, no further alignment is necessary unless repairing is conducted by a qualified technician. TRANSMITTER ( Alignment procedure ): Equipment to be used: Spectrum analyzer connected with a standard receiving antenna; 9V power supply connected to the battery compartment. 1) Fully extend the antenna in the controller ( transmitter); 2) Place the receiving antenna of the spectrum analyzer at a distance that the spectrum analyzer can receive the transmitted fundamental and harmonic signals from the controller. 3) Tune T2 and T1 for maximum amplitude of the fundamental ( 27.145Mhz) and at the same time the minimum amplitude for the harmonics. RECEIVER ( Alignment procedure ): In the r.f. front end and IF strip, there is no component for alignment, the crystal (X2) frequency tolerance and the center frequency of the ceramic filter (X1) and discriminator (X3) are specified within the design tolerance to ensure the acceptable receiving sensitivity of operation. -------------- END --------------------
