The u-com IC is processed to the Encode data and ID code according to the key input information, and transmit the data through the Dout pin of the IC and simultaneously transmit the high data through the CE pin which is enabled to activate the one-chip Transmitter IC (U1). The Encoded Data from the u-controlled IC (U3) is applied to the stage of the X-tal controlled reference FM MOD OSC (X1,TC1.L5), and modulated to FSK signal which frequency is 6.99648 MHz, and converted to the 64th frequency of 447.775 MHz. The one-chip transmitter IC (U1) is consist of the pre-scaled PLL configuration. The converted RF signal is fed to the internal Power Amp and amplified the signals, and filtered and matched there Impedance by the Antenna Matching circuit (L1-4,C1,2,4,5) and radiated from the Antenna. f i l e : / / / C | /¬õÇ / F C C 2 / T w 0 3 s s . t x t [ 0 3 - 0 7 - 1 5 ÿ•ÿ€ÿ€ 1 1 : 0 7 : 3 5 ] 55 44 33 22 11 D D C C B B A A TRUNK STARTL/UL <Doc> A A3 11 Page Modify Date = Wednesday, July 09, 2003 TitleSize Document Number Rev Date: Sheet of TXEN TXEN VCC VCC TP TP C620pC368p/CH R1010J L51uH C11103Z C13102B C12102B D1KDV154E L668nH R19100K R215KJ R7 1.2K BT1 CR2025 X2 R81.2K R1110J C151U R164.7KJ D3 KDS187 R174.7KJ R184.7KJ C20104Z C910p C8103Z S2S3TC120p R51K R2010KJ C19103Z C10.5p/CH 1 2 U1TX4915 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 89 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Oscb Osce Txen Vss PAout Vss1 Vcc1 MODinVcc2 Vss2 Vref Res1 Res2 PDout LD Div X24M R110KJ D2 KDS187 L4270nH C7103Z C21104Z L127nH R347KJ L310nH R415KJ C10100p C18104Z C51p/CH R1210J U3 HT48R05A-1_16SSOP-A 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 89 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 PA3 PA2 PA1 PA0 PB0/BZ VSS PC0//INT PC1/TMR /RES VDD OSC1 OSC2 PA7 PA6 PA5 PA4 C22p/CH C48p/CH L227nH S1 ANT1ANTENNA 1 R91K LED1 C16104 Q1A1504 R214.7KJ X16.9965MHz + C1710/10 R142.2KJ C14103Z R610J R15100K U2N/U 1 2 3 OI G

Test Procedure 1.1 Preliminary Testing for Reference Preliminary testing was performed in a KTL absorber-lined room to determine the emission characteristics of the EUT. The EUT was placed on the wooden table which has dimensions of 0.8 meters in height, 1 meter in length and 1.5 meters in width. Receiving antenna (Biconi-Log antenna : 26 to 2000 MHz or Horn Antenna : 1 to 18 GHz) was placed at the distance of 1 meter from the EUT. An attempt was made to maximize the emission level with the various configurations of the EUT. Emission levels from the EUT with various configurations were examined on a spectrum analyzer connected with a RF amplifier and graphed by a plotter. 1.2 Final Radiated Emission Test at an Absorber-Lined Room The fi…

Sample Calculation The measured field strength was determined by averaging one complete pulse train including blanking interval because the pulse repetition time of the EUT(=96.3ms) does not exceeds 0.1 seconds (15.35(c)). See graphs of page 12 . With the resolution bandwidth set at 3 kHz, the EUT produces a pulse spectrum on the spectrum analyzer because the bandwidth of the analyzer is greater than or equal to the PRF (= 333.3 Hz). Therefore, as mentioned in HP Application Note 150-2 (page 11), the pulse desensitization(a p ) equals zero and the display amplitude is essentially a peak level. .
