Model No. 95955 User’ S Manual Step One Installing Batteries One 9V battery for the transmitter 7.2V battery pack for the Truck Put Batteries in the Truck Turn off the Truck Remove the battery compartment cover. Place the battery pack in the recessed area with the battery pack’s connector on the same side as the truck’s matching connector. Attach the battery pack’s connector to the truck’s matching connector. They fit together only one way. Do not force them. Close the cover. You must charge the battery pack with a battery charger (not supplied) Put Battery in the Transmitter . Turn the transmitter off. . Open the battery compartment cover. . Insert on 9V battery in the battery compartment, and match the polarity symbols (+ and -) as marked inside. . Replace the cover and snap it on. Step Two Driving the Truck . Extend the transmitter’s antenna to its full length. . Turn the transmitter and Truck on. . Push forward to move forward. For turbo speed, push forward and to the right. . Pull backward to move backward. . Release to stop. . Push the left to turn left. . Push the right to turn right. . Release to go straight . When you finish driving the vehicle, turn the transmitter and vehicle off. . You can select between two wheels and four wheels steering. Slide the switch located at the rear chassis to select two or four wheels steering. Hints & Tips . Driving your Truck for long periods of time can generate a high heat level, which causes wear and tear on the motor. To help keep heat levels down, when your vehicle’s battery power dies, let it cool for at least 10 minutes before installing new batteries. . Do not touch the motor immediately after using the Truck, as it may become hot during use. . If your Truck’s motor runs, but does not respond to the transmitter, move closer to the vehicle and try again. . If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with the control of your Hummer Truck. If this happens, move the vehicle away from the CB. . If the Truck moves slowly, or not at all, and you have installed new batteries, check the wheel mechanism for lint, dust, hair or thread. . When the transmitter’s range decreases, replace its battery. . If the Truck does not drive in a straight line, adjust the wheel alignment control on the bottom of the vehicle. Turn the control toward L if the vehicle pulls to the right, and toward R if the vehicle pulls to the left. . The Truck might make a popping or grinding noise when you slide the gear control switch. This is normal. FCC NOTE: THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RADIO OR TV INTERFERENCE CAUSED BY UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS TO THIS EQUIPMENT. FCC ID: IBH95955R REPORT :THRU-505025 Page 2 of 3 TEST PROCEDURE GENERAL: This report shall NOT be reproduced except in full without the written approval of ThruLab & Engineering. RADIATION INTERFERENCE: The test procedure used was ANSI STANDARD C63.4-1992 using a HEWLETT PACKARD spectrum analyzer with a preselector. The bandwidth of the spectrum analyzer was 100 kHZ with an appropriate sweep speed. The analyzer was calibrated in dB above a microvolt at the output of the antenna. The resolution bandwidth was 100KHZ and the video bandwidth was 300KHZ. The ambient temperature of the UUT was 23ºC with a humidity of 45% FORMULA OF CONVERSION FACTORS: The Field Strength at 3m was established by adding the meter reading of the spectrum analyzer (which is set to read in units of dBuV) to the antenna correction factor supplied by the antenna manufacturer. The antenna correction factors are stated in terms of dB. The gain of the Preselector was accounted for in the Spectrum Analyzer Meter Reading. Example: Freq (MHz) METER READING + ACF = FS 33 20 dBuV + 10.36 dB = 30.36 dBuV/m @ 3m ANSI STANDARD C63.4-1992 10.1.7 MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES: The unit under test was placed on a table 80 cm high and with dimensions of 1m by 1.5m. The table used for radiated measurements is capable of continuous rotation. When an emission was found, the table was rotated to produce the maximum signal strength. At this point, the antenna was raised and lowered from 1m to 4m. The antenna was placed in both the horizontal and vertical planes. ANSI STANDARD C63.4-1992 12.1.1.1 SUPERREGENERATIVE RECEIVER: A signal Generator was set to the unit under test operating frequency. An un- Modulated continuous wave (CW) signal was radiated at the super regenerative receiver operating frequency to cohere the characteristic broadband emissions from the receiver. The situation was similar for the conducted measurement except that the table did not rotate. The EUT was setup as described in ANSIC63.4-1992 with the EUT 40 cm from the vertical ground wall:Not Applicable, battery operated. THRUlab & Engineering.
