Users Manual

Instruction Manual for Model No. FRS-4622 Ear Band Talkie Operation 1) Open the battery cover with a screwdriver , then insert 4 pcs β€œG13” button battery and close the battery compartment. 2) Slide the β€œon/off” switch to β€œon” position, then you can communicate with each other, only one person can talk at the same time. 3) Put the talkie fit on your ear, speak in a normal voice into the microphone. The microphone is voice-activated, so as soon as you begin talking your message will be transmitted to the other talkie. The microphone will be activated if wind blows directly into it. Adjust your position to avoid the wind and other outside noises that interfere with the microphone. 4) In the event of interference caused by other radio signals in the vicinity. Move to a different location. 5) The units may have feedback (squealing noise) when played too close together. Move farther apart when it happens. 6) Stop playing, slide to β€œoff” position. Care and Maintenance 1) Clean your unit with a damp (never wet) cloth, solvent or detergent should never be used. 2) Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places. 3) Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors. 4) When the sound of the unit becomes weak, it is the time to change batteries. Warning 1) Do not try to use metal objects to short battery connector, it may damage your unit. 2) The manufacturer is not responsible for any unauthorized modifications to this equipment, such modifications could void the user’s authority. 3) Specifications are subject to change without notice. NOTE: THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RADIO OR TV INTERFERENCE CAUSED BY UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS TO THIS EQUIPMENT. FCC ID: ICK-FRS-4622 REPORT #: L\LOYALICK\87HT2\87HT2TestReport.doc PAGE #: 1 TEST PROCEDURES GENERAL: This report shall NOT be reproduced except in full without the written approval of TIMCO ENGINEERING, INC. RADIATION INTERFERENCE: The test procedure used was ANSI STANDARD C63.4-1992 using a HEWLETT PACKARD spectrum analyzer with a prese- lector. In the frequency range 10 kHz to 30 MHz the RBW was 10 kHz and from 30-1000 MHz the RBW of the spectrum analyzer was 100 kHz with an appropriate sweep speed. The analyzer was calibrated in dB above a microvolt at the output of the antenna. The resolution bandwidth was 100KHz and the video bandwidth was 300 kHz. The ambient temperature of the UUT was 57Β° with a humidity of 43%. FORMULA OF CONVERSION FACTORS: The Field Strength at 3m was estab- lished by adding the meter reading of the spectrum analyzer (which is set to read in units of dBuV) to the antenna correction factor sup- plied by the antenna manufacturer. The antenna correction factors are stated in terms of dB. The gain of the Preselector was accounted for in the Spectrum Analyzer Meter Reading. Example: Freq (MHz) METER READING + ACF = FS 33 20 dBuV + 10.36 dB = 30.36 dBuV/m @ 3m APPLICANT: LOYAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Polarity Coax Loss dB Correction Factor dB Field Strength dBuV/m Margin dB 462.70 25.5 H 2.99 17.21 45.70 0.30 SAMPLE CALCULATION: FSdBuV/m = MR(dBuV) + ACFdB. TEST PROCEDURE: ANSI C63.4-1992 using Hewlett Packard Model 8566B spectrum analyzer, a Hewlett Packard Model 85685A Preselector, a Hewlett Packard Model 85650A Quasi-Peak adapter, Electro-Metric Dipole Kit. The bandwidth of the spectrum analyzer was 100 kHz with an appropriate sweep speed. When an emission was found, the table was rotated to produce the maximum signal strength. The antenna was placed in both the horizontal and vertical planes and the worst case emissions were reported. The EUT was measured in three(3) orthogonal planes. The unit was measured at TIMCO ENGINEERING, INC. located at 849 N.W. State Road 45 Newberry, Florida 32669. TEST RESULTS: THE UNIT DOES MEET THE FCC REQUIREMENTS.
