For optimal performance, place the receiver at least 8 inches or 20 centimeters aw ay from other electrical devices, such as the computer, the computer monitor, or external storage drives. ¥ For PCs, make sure the PS/2 mouse port has the proper configuration. Refer to your computer documentation for the correct port configuration. You may also have other system devices that conflict with the mouse. Check the IRQ/address settings of these devices for conflicts, and change the settings as required. ¥Establish communication between the receiver and the mouse. Press the Connect button on the receiver, then press the Connect button under the mouse. ¥ Make sure you have installed the batteries correctly. If you are working on a metallic surface, try turning the receiver on its side for better reception. ¥Try unplugging then reconnecting the receiver cable to the computer. 8 International Standards and Safety This mouse has no serviceable parts included. FCC ID: JNZM-RR67A ADT No.910503R04 Operational Description The transmitter of the EUT (Wireless Mouse) is powered by 3V Battery. The receiver is powered by host computer. Both transmitter and receiver use loop antenna. Because the room inside the housing is very limited, so the size of the antenna is far smaller than one wavelength (27MHz), which means the radiation efficiency is very low. But under normal use condition, the transmitter and the receiver is quite close, so high EIRP power is not needed and neither not allowed because of interference.
