La única responsabilidad de LUTRON será la de reparar o reemplazar el producto. Esta garantía es válida en las siguientes: CONDICIONES: 1. Para hacer efectiva esta garantía, las reclamaciones no se podrán hacer si no es presentada esta póliza y el producto defectuoso en el lugar donde se compró el producto, o en el centro de servicio indicado arriba. El consumidor también podrá comprar partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios en dicho lugar. 2. La única responsabilidad de LUTRON será la de reparar o reemplazar el producto. LUTRON reemplazará o intercambiará el producto defectuoso sin hacer más cargos al cliente. Los gastos de transporte (si los hubiera) los cubrirá LUTRON CN, S. de R.L. de C.V. 3. El tiempo para reemplazar el producto no excederá de treinta (30) días, contados a partir del momento en que se reciba el producto en cualquiera de los lugares en donde esta garantía se pueda hacer efectiva. 4. Cuando se necesite hacer efectiva esta garantía reemplazando el producto, el trámite se hará en LUTRON CN, S. de R.L. de C.V. 5. Esta garantía perderá su validez en los casos siguientes: A) Cuando el producto se haya usado en condiciones que no sean las normales. B) Cuando el producto se haya hecho funcionar sin seguir las instrucciones del producto que vienen en español. C) Cuando alguna(s) persona(s), no autorizada(s) por LUTRON CN, S. de R.L. de C.V., haya(n) alterado o reparado el producto. 6. El cliente podrá solicitar que esta póliza se haga efectiva en el establecimiento comercial donde se compró el producto. 7. En caso de que esta garantía se extravíe, el cliente podrá solicitar otra póliza de garantía al proveedor una vez que presente el recibo o factura de compra. 8. LUTRON no se hace responsable por daños incidentales, indirectos, especiales o consecuentes, incluyendo sin limitación, daños a, o pérdida de uso de, cualquier equipo, pérdida de ventas o ganancias o retraso o incumplimiento de esta obligación de garantía. 9. Esta garantía no cubre eventos externos tales como terremotos o temblores, incendios, descargas eléctricas y otras condiciones ambientales ajenas al producto. 10.Los recursos aquí descritos son los remedios exclusivos para esta garantía, ya sea basado en contrato, agravio o de otra manera. Sujeita às exclusões descritas abaixo, durante um período (definido abaixo) após a data de remessa por parte da Lutron, a Lutron garante que cada novo produto (“Produto”) estará isento de defeitos de fabricação. A Lutron, a seu critério, reparará a peça defeituosa ou fornecerá as peças de substituição comparáveis, desde que a Lutron seja prontamente notificada do defeito dentro do período de garantia (definido abaixo). As peças de substituição fornecidas pela Lutron podem ser novas, usadas, reparadas, recondicionadas e/ou feitas por um fabricante diferente. EXCLUSÕES DA GARANTIA LIMITADA Esta Garantia não cobre e nem a Lutron e seus fornecedores serão responsáveis por: 1. Dano, mau funcionamento ou inoperabilidade diagnosticados pela Lutron ou terceiros aprovados pela Lutron causados pelo desgaste normal, mau uso, uso excessivo, instalação correta, negligência, acidente ou interferência das fontes de infravermelho ou freqüência de rádio ou obstáculos, tais como, entre outros, (a) uso de voltagens de linha, fusíveis e disjuntores incorretos; (b) falha na instalação, manutenção e operação do Produto em conformidade com as instruções operacionais fornecidas pela Lutron e as disposições aplicáveis do Código Elétrico Nacional dos EUA e das Normas de Segurança dos Underwriter’s Laboratories; (c) uso de aparelhos ou acessórios incompatíveis; (d) falha na manutenção do equipamento sob a temperatura ambiente especificada; (e) reparos ou ajustes não autorizados; (f) vandalismo; e (g) um caso fortuito, como incêndio, relâmpago, inundação, tornado, terremoto, furacão ou outros problemas fora do controle da Lutron. 2. Custo de mão-de-obra no local para diagnosticar questões e remover, reparar, substituir, ajustar, reinstalar e/ou reprogramar o Produto, a critério da Lutron, sendo todos os custos pagos pelo Cliente ao preço atual do serviço. 3. Quando aplicável, os componentes e os equipamentos externos do Produto, como, lâmpadas, lastros que não sejam da Lutron, soquetes e acessórios; cabeamento do acessório entre os lastros e as lâmpadas; cabeamento das instalações entre os redutores de luz ou painéis do redutor de luz e lâmpadas e entre os controles, redutores de luz ou painéis do redutor de luz; e outros equipamentos dos fabricantes não fornecidos pela Lutron, como relógios, equipamentos audiovisuais, detectores de movimento, fotossensores, sensores de entrada para carros, almofadas de pressão, persianas e banheiras. 4. O custo de reparar ou substituir outras propriedades que tenham sido danificadas quando o produto não funciona corretamente, mesmo que o dano tenha sido causado pelo produto. ESTA GARANTIA SUBSTITUI TODAS AS OUTRAS GARANTIAS EXPLÍCITAS. TODAS AS GARANTIAS IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUINDO AS GARANTIAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDADE E ADEQUAÇÃO PARA FINS ESPECÍFICOS, ESTÃO LIMITADAS A UM ANO A PARTIR DA DATA DA REMESSA. Lightbulbs are burned out or not installed • Replace or install lightbulbs. Dioded lightbulbs • If dioded lightbulbs are being used, replace with non-dioded lightbulbs. Triple-tap and hold the tapswitch. DO NOT release after third tap. 2. Continue to hold the tapswitch on the third tap until LEDs start to scroll up and down quickly (approximately 3 seconds). 3. Release the tapswitch and immediately triple-tap it again. The LEDs will scroll up and down slowly. When the LEDs stop scrolling, the Lamp Dimmer has been returned to Factory Settings. Installation 1. Find a suitable location for the RF Lamp Dimmer. Place the RF Lamp Dimmer in a convenient and accessible location. 2. Turn lamp OFF and unplug lamp cord from wall outlet. 3. Plug lamp cord into the RF Lamp Dimmer plug. 4. Plug RF Lamp Dimmer into any standard wall outlet. 5. Turn lamp switch ON and operate RF Lamp Dimmer. WARNING: Shock hazard. To avoid risk of electrical shock, unplug Lamp Dimmer when changing light bulbs. Changing light bulbs with the power on could result in personal injury or death. WARNING: Shock hazard. To avoid risk of electrical shock, do not open, cut cord, or rewire device. Modification of the device can result in per- sonal injury or death. Note: This is a POLARIZED cord. It has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) and outlet (one slot is wider than the other). A polarized outlet is intended to mate with a polarized plug in only one way (the longer slot with the wider blade). Indoor use only. Cord: The cord length is 6 ft (1.8 m). Cleaning: To clean, wipe with a clean damp cloth. DO NOT use any chemical cleaning solutions. Lamp Type: Lamp Dimmers are designed for use with incandescent, magnetic low-voltage, and tungsten halogen lightbulbs only. Do not use to control fluorescent lightbulbs or table lamps with an integral dimmer or touch lamps. For lamps with integral 3-way switches, switch should be set to full on position. Lamp Dimmers may not work with dioded lightbulbs. Low-voltage Applications: Use Lamp Dimmers with magnetic (core and coil) low-voltage lamps only. Not for use with electronic (solid-state) low- voltage lamps. Operation of a low-voltage circuit with lightbulbs inoperative or removed may result in transformer overheating and premature failure. Lutron strongly recommends the following: • Do not operate low-voltage circuits without operative lightbulbs in place. • Replace burned-out lightbulbs as soon as possible. • Use transformers that incorporate thermal protection or fused transformer primary windings to prevent transformer failure due to overcurrent. RF Device Placement: RF dimmers, switches, keypads and shades/ drapes must be located within 30 ft (9 m) of an RF signal repeater. For systems without an RF signal repeater, all RF dimmers, switches, keypads and shades/drapes must be located within 30 ft (9 m) of each other. Remote dimmers and switches are not required to be within a specific range. Typical power consumption test conditions: Load is off, nightlight mode enabled. Important Notes Local Operation Pressing the Tapswitch on the Lamp Dimmer will alternately turn the lights ON and OFF. The ON level will be the level previously set using the Dimming Rocker to the right of the Tapswitch. The LED that is glowing slightly brighter than the others indicates the level to which the lights will turn ON. Press and hold the top or bottom of the Dimming Rocker to raise or lower the light level. Double-tapping the Tapswitch will turn the lights ON to full. Pressing and holding the Tapswitch for 1/2 second (while ON) activates a 10-second long fade-to-off. Note: Refer to the system Setup Guide for additional troubleshooting suggestions.
