WIRELESS RF REMOTE W/RCVR (RECEIVER) FOR iPOD F8Z024 Description F8Z024 is a remote control for ipod, which use 2.4GHz wireless radio frequency. This system consists of a Receiver and a remote Transmitter, When the Receiver connector plug into the ipod, pressing any buttons on Remote Transmitter to output signal for Receiver and then the Receiver returns a signal to Remote Transmitter, the communication is successful if the LED on Receiver and Transmitter are green at the same time, otherwise, the LED of Remote Transmitter shows amber. These accessories multi-clip, surface-Mount Hook, battery, lanyard adjuster, as well as a lanyard can make you carry the system very convenient. Receiver The Receiver is a stereo signal receiving configuration from Transmitter, it will power on automatically when plug the stereo connector of the Tunecommand Receiver in the jack on the top your ipod. The green light will blink three times to show you connecting status. Remote Transmitter The Remote Transmitter can control the ipod device’s play/pause, skip forward, skip backward, and volume up/down functions when the communication is successful between Receiver and Transmitter. In addition, the two small round buttons can conveniently control the shuffle and repeat functions. When push a button on the Remote, the green lights on the Remote and the Receiver blink, indicating that the signal has been WIRELESS RF REMOTE W/RCVR (RECEIVER) FOR iPOD received correctly. But if the Remote and the Receiver are too far apart to communicate, the light on the Remote blinks amber (after a short delay) instead of green when pressing a button. Microprocessor The microprocessor U1 (IC CY8C21323-24 LFXIT) which consists of many Mixed Signal Array & includes configurable blocks of analog and digital logic, as well as programmable interconnect & allows the user to create customized peripheral configurations, to match the requirements of each individual application. Additionally, a fast CPU, Flash program memory, SRAM data memory, and configurable IO are included in a range of convenient pin-outs. This IC that is used in both of remote transmitter and the receiver .It control the ipod connector, the Transceiver and LED for Receiver unit, and control the power switch , Transceiver LED and keyboard for Transmitter. The battery The Remote’s battery level is automatically checked after pressing every button. If the battery level is low, the Remote’s red light will blink following the green or amber blinking. Then the low battery should be replaced soon. However, the Tunecommand will continue to work normally until the battery is exhausted and can’t work when Transmitter send out weak amber light.
