L5X-PMP-01-240 1 of 1 P-COM, Inc Exhibit V Exhibit V: L5X-PMP-01-240 RF SAFETY COMPLIANCE STATEMENT The P-COM Sector ODU is not considered a Subscriber Unit but rather a Node Station . Under the terms specified in Table 1 “Transmitters, Facilities and Operations Subject to Routine Environmental Evaluation” of 47 CFR 1.1307, the P-COM Sector ODU does not exceed the limits for “(Multipoint Distribution Service) Building-mounted antennas: power > 1640 W EIRP”. The Max EIRP for the P-COM Sector ODU is 11.7 W. The P-COM Sector ODU will be installed on a Building-mounted Antenna and should fall under the limits for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) for General Population/Uncontrolled Exposures listed under Table 1.B of 47 CFR 1.1310. The Limit listed for frequency range 1500 MHz to 100,000 MHz is 1 mW/cm 2 Equation (4) of OET Bulletin 65 Edition 97-01 “Equations for Predicting RF Fields” is a “worst case or conservative prediction” for power density levels around typical RF sources. This equation was used to predict a safe minimum separation distance required between users and transceiver antenna. The P-COM 24 GHz Sector ODU has a Max TX Power of +21 dBm and the antenna has a gain of 17.7 dBi. The results of this equation predict a minimum safe separation distance of 35 cm between the antenna and all persons.

L5X-PMP-01-240 Page 1 of 1 P-COM, Inc. Exhibit H Exhibit H: L5X-PMP-01-240 Measured RF Output Power This Exhibit provides a response to Section 2.1046 (a), based on the transmitter power limitations of Section 101.113. Transmitter Power Limitations: Frequency Max Allowable EIRP 24.250 GHz to 25.250 GHz +55 dBW Each Sector antenna has an elevation beamwidth of six degrees and an azimuth beamwidth of up to 90 degrees. The antennas with the 90 degree beamwidths provide a Peak gain of 17.7 dBi as specified by the vendor. The power amplifiers in the 24 GHz band Outdoor Units have a P1dB of +26 dBm at the antenna interface. This system requires a minimum of 3 dB of back off to operate. With this backoff included, the maximum EIRP of this system will be (17.7 dBi + 23 dBm) or 40.7 dBm. This equates to Maximum EIRP of 10.7 dBW. The antennas are discussed in more detail in Exhibit N. The above calculations indicate that the equipment will not exceed the maximum EIRP limitation of +55 dBW at any time.

JA-1742-1 26 FIGURE 6.1.3-1 (CONT.) JA-1742-1 27 6.1.3.1 Radiated 15.209((a)/101.111) Radiated measurements were performed starting at 30MHz and extended out to 100GHz to include the requirements for covering 24GHz transmitter harmonics and spurious emissions. Quasi-peak detection was used from 30MHz to 1GHz. From 1GHz to 40GHz, both peak and average measurements were performed. Above 40GHz the peak measurements at 1MHz bandwidth were measured. The harmonics were measured at the Mid TX frequency. A scan at Mid frequency was performed to 100GHz for spurious content. Both vertical and horizontal polarizations are included in the data. Photo 6.1.3.1-1 presents the test site with the unit in place inside the enclosure. Table 6.1.3.1-1 is a tabulated list of the signals detected including the transmitter frequency and harmonics. RESULTS: The system does not have signals that appear above the requirement of Part 15 or Part 101 as tested in this report. In areas where the sensitivity was lacking, several techniques were used such as moving in closer or narrowing the bandwidths. The sensitivity was increased in the mixers range by using a 500MHz low pass filter to separate the IF/LO frequencies to the mixer. A second analyzer was used to observe the 431MHz IF. Rubicom Systems, Inc. is confident that the methods used show the unit compliant. The MASK requirement of 101.111(2)(ii) is shown in Data Sheets 6.1.3.1-1 through 6.1.3.1-6. The maximum attenuation requirement of 56dB at the 250% points is applicable. JA-1742-1 28 Outside the 250% bandwidth the limit was established at 33dB attenuation required below the transmitter. The measurements were made using the radiated technique. The transmitter output for this application is approximately 50dB below the allowed 55dBW EIRP. Plotter data for the quasi-peak scans over the 30MHz-1GHz range are presented on Data Sheets 6.1.3.1-7 through 6.1.3.1-12. Peak data plots from 1GHz to 100GHz are presented on Data Sheets 6.1.3-13 through 6.1.3-26. Average data plots to 40GHz are presented on Data Sheets 6.1.3.1-27 through 6.1.3.1-52. Ambient data for the 30MHz-1GHz range for this test effort is on file at Rubicom Systems, Inc. under JA-1742-1 should it be required.
