Operational Description

A wireless microphone system consists generally of three main components : an input source, a transmitter. The input source provides an audio signal to the transmitter. Th e radio wave has a constand amplitude and basic frquencey .the basic frequency is varied up and down modulated by the audio signal to create the corresponding radio signal. The deviation is function of the amplitude of the audio signal and is usually measured in (KHz).Typical values of deviation in wireless microphone system range from about FM 40 KHz depening on the operating frequencyband. The part of the process performed in the transmitter is โ€œcompressionโ€In which the dynamic range of the audio signal is reduced or compressed, typically by a factor of 2:1. a potential dynamic range greater than 100dB. Handheld transmitters generally conceal the antennainside the bidy of the unit,or use the outer metal parts of the case as the antenna .in either design ,the antenna is rarely a ture 1/4 wave long(50โ„ฆ) in the microphone head. microphone power use the DC 9V battery in heanheld case.
