SmartStock, LLC TECHNOLOGY LEADER IN LIVESTOCK HEALTH MANAGEMENT P.O. Box 337 1310 N. Sewell Pawnee, OK 74058 918.762-1065 www.smartstock-usa.com User’s Manual. Bolus Installation instructions. FCC ID: LPH-SSL001 The bolus is designed to be ingested into ruminant animals. The bolus is approximately 1 1/8” in diameter and approximately 3” in length. The bolus is installed into the bolus gun or balling gun (figure 2). The balling gun is inserted into the esophagus of the ruminant animal. When the balling gun is inserted up to the handle, squeeze the handle to release the bolus. Assure that the flat end of the bolus is inserted into the balling gun first. The rounded end will thus go into the animals mouth first. Warning: if you are not familiar with installing boluses into ruminent animals, seek help from a professional, like a herd health management specialist or a Doctor of Vetenary Mecidian (DVM). For further information view the installation video at www.smartstock-usa.com. Figure 1 Figure 2
