INSTRUCTION MANUAL Help Alarm – Model HA28 Product diagram Power and Telephone Connection Open the cover at the top of main unit, can see DC hole and telephone plug socket. Insert one end of the adaptor (Included) to DC hole and the other end is connected to the AC power supplier. Insert one end of the telephone cable (Included) into the telephone plug socket and the other end is connected to the main unit. For back up power purpose, please insert 4pcsΓ—AAA batteries(Not Included) into battery compartment at rear of the main unit. Turn on unit by pushing switch located at side of unit, then green LED – power indicator, lights on and red LED flashes for 3seconds to indicate unit can start to take record & store telephone numbers. Record and Play your own message Press and hold the buttons above on keypad at the same time, the red LED lights on. You have 6 seconds to record your own message. To playback your own recorded message by pressing the button below NOTE: To change the recorded message, repeat above steps. Store telephone number To store telephone numbers as the following steps: Press the button++ phone number + to store the first telephone number, Press the button++ phone number + to store the second telephone number, Press the button++ phone number + to store the third telephone number. NOTE: If you make a mistake just repeat the process above. Operation Press the round button on keyfob or on the main unit, the main unit will dial the 3 preset numbers automatically. It will call each number for 45 seconds. If the receiver does not answer the phone, it will keep dialing for 5 cycles and then turn to standby mode. When the receiver answers the call from HA28 they will hear the pre-recorded message. After that, the receiver of the call can then open up a two-way communication and listen into the callers property by pressing any figure button on their telephone key-pad. After communicating for approximately 45 seconds, it will have 3 β€œBeep” tone to remind receiver to extend time to talk and listen. At this moment, receiver can press any figure button on the key-pad to extend another 60 seconds to talk and listen. When the conversation is over, main unit will be back to standby mode. If the call is answered, main unit will stop dialing for other telephones. NOTE: As the mian unit is hands free it is possible to communicate with the caller to a maximum distance of 3 metres. Battery precaution z Remote battery: A23S battery z Use only the appropriate size batteries. z If unit is not used for a long period time, remove the batteries to prevent damage of possible battery leakage. z When red LED of main unit is on, the back up battery is low. When press button on keyfob to get help, the LED will light on green, if light on red, the battery is low. Wa r n i n g This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
