These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one of the following measures: - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. - Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. - Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. - Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. FCC Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. IC Caution Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) is not more than that required for successful communication. This device has been designed to operate with an antenna having a maximum gain of 2 dBi. Antenna having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per regulations of Industry Canada. The required antenna impedance is 50 ohms. To reduce po…

Correspondence Summary Q & A November 6, 2006 SUBJECT: WISTRON NEWEB CORPORATION - FCC ID: NKRUPAST405 TCB-Question: 2. Part 15.15(b): Thank you for including a statement on page 1 of the test report. Please, also indicate how this was verified. Were the tuning controls manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range of 88.1 to 107.9MHz. Please be more specific, and explain how the verification of the tuning range was done. Applicant-Answer: 2.testing:we found the tuning controls of EUT could manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range from 88.1 to 107.9MHz and this range is the same as the spectrum location. In the frequency range 10 kHz to 30 MHz the RBW was 10 kHz and from 30-1000 MHz the RBW of the spectrum analyzer was 100 kHz with an appropriate sweep speed. The analyzer was calibrated in dB above a microvolt at the output of the antenna. The resolution bandwidth was 100 kHz and the video bandwidth was 300 kHz. Formula Of Conversion Factors: The Field Strength at 3m was established by adding the meter reading of the spectrum analyzer (which is set to read in units of dBuV) to the antenna correction factor supplied by the antenna manufacturer. The antenna correction factors are stated in terms of dB. The gain of the Pre-selector was accounted for in the Spectrum Analyzer Meter Reading. Example: Freq (MHz) Meter Reading + ACF +CL = FS 33 20 dBuV + 10.36 dB/m +0.40 dB =30.76 dBuV/m @ 3m ANSI C63.4-2003 Section 8.2.1 Measurement Proce…
