USER'S GUIDE Plug-In UHF Wireless Audio-Link Transmitter Module Notice : The changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, no change to the antenna or the device is permitted. Any change to the antenna or the device could result in the device exceeding the RF exposure requirements and void user’s authority to operate the device. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Operating Manual for Transmitter Module TX-701 Simple Introduction Thank you for purchasing this plug-in UHF wireless Audio-Link transmitter module TX-701. With up to 96 preprogrammed selectable frequencies, this module could perfectly perform without any external disturbance. Besides, with LCD display, this module could be operated and used easily. This manual includes the complete functions and operations of the wireless transmitter module. Please read this manual carefully in order to operate and use this system to its fullest potential. -1- Description of Functions Installation and Operation -2- 1. LCD display 2.TX audio indicator 3. Low audio level indicator 4. High audio level indicator 5. Setting enter 6. Up/ Down selector 7. Power switch and volume control 8. Charging LED for PA system 9. Power switch for PA system (2)(1)(3)(4)(5)(8)(9)(6) (7) a. Turn the power switch(7) clockwise to turn on the transmitter. b. The LCD display(1) will show On and then the channel used before turning off last time. c. To select the channel, press the set button(5) and the channel in LCD flash. Press up or down button (6) to select the channel to transmit, and then press set button again to enter the setting. Don't leave transmitter or receiver in hot sun, on a radiator, or near other sources of high temperature. Avoid Excessive Heat Transmitter and receiver may be damaged if dropped. Avoid Rough Handling Maintenance -3- d. Turn the volume control(7) to the proper position. e. When transmitting the signals, the TX indicator(2)will light Green to show the transmitting condition. The AF Level indicator lights Yellow(3) to show the low audio, lights Red (4)to show the high audio. Please pr o approval letter to include information as applicable in items M1-M8 below. MODULAR APPROVAL LETTER INFORMATION ITEMS M1. The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding. This is intended to e n does not have to rely upon the shielding provided by the device into which it is installe modular transmitter emissions to comply with Part 15 limits. It is also intended to preve the RF circuitry of the module and any wires or circuits in the device into which the mo coupling may result in non-compliant operation. M2. The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. This is in t the module will comply with Part 15 requirements regardless of the design of the powe the device into which the module is installed. Any antenna used with the module must module, either at the time of initial authorization or through a Class II permissive chang calculation for licensed modules must account not just for compliance with MPE but al ERP/EIRP limits. M3. The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the inside another device during testing. This is intended to demonstrate that the module with Part 15 emission limits regardless of the device into which it is eventually installe d transmitter module will be battery powered, it must comply with the AC line conducted Section 15.207. AC or DC power lines and data input/output lines connected to the m ferrites, unless they will be marketed with the module. Any accessories, peripherals, or supp connected to the module during testing shall be unmodified or commercially available . M4. The licensed module must have a FCC ID label on the module itself. The modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure require m FCC Rules in Sections 2.1091, 2.1093 and specific Sections of Part 15, including 15.3 (f) and 15.255(g), require that Unlicensed PCS, UNII and millimeter wave devices perf environmental evaluation for RF Exposure to demonstrate compliance. In addition, sp transmitters operating under Section 15.247 are required to address RF Exposure com with Section 15.247(b)(4).
