Operation Description of transmitter for B/O walkie-talkie The transmitter for B/O walkie-talkie operates at 49.860 MHz, which is controlled by a crystal. It is powered by a 9V size battery. It has an ON/OFF volume control for switching the ON, OFF and volume level. It also has a “PUSH-TO-TALK” button for transmitting and receiving voice signal and a “MORSE CODE KEY” button for transmitting Morse code signals. Refer to the circuit design, the circuit description is listed as follows : -XTAL, Q1 and associated circuit act as oscillation /RF & DET. STAGE -Q2 and associated circuit act as driver amplification -Q3, Q4 and associated circuit act as power amplification
