Remove the battery cover as shown below. 2. Insert (or remove) the 10 size "C" batteries as below.Note: Install batteries as shownby the battery compartmentmarking only.. AC Adaptor Use: Make sure that proper AC adaptorshave been installed correctly. Useonly the AC adaptors supplied withthe Monitor. 1. Install the plug of the AC Adaptor to the DC jack ofthe unit. 2. Plug the adaptor into a standard wall outlet. 3. Switch on the power switch of the unit. 4. The power indicator will be illuminated. Channel & Timer Setting Sw5Sw6 ONON OFFON OFFOFF ONOFF Switcher time 3sec 5sec 7sec 10sec 1.The channel & Timer selector on the REAR cabinet used for channel & timing setting .put the switch to on position, than you can select single channel 1-4 or any other channel combination. 2.Timer setting defaut as below. CH TIMER Connections/setting up To prevent speaker and Microphonefeedback noise, the Monitor shouldbe placed far enough away from theCamera.If the picture rolls up or down, theV-Hold control located on the back of the Monitor needs to beadjusted. Once you have a clear and crisppicture displayed on the screen, you can adjust the brightnessand contrast by using the controlson the front of the Monitor untilyou achieve the desired result. Battery Use: The monitor requires 10 size "C"batteries when powered by battery.Alkaline batteries are recommend-ed for longer viewing time. 1. If you are using batteries in the M- onitor and the video image startsto shrink, it's time to change thebatteries. 2. Do not mix old and new batteries.3. Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries. 4. Remove the batteries during long period of non-use. 4 5 The infrared lighting of the camera isdesigned to allow the camera to pickup pictures clearly during darkness orperiods of very low levels of light.Slide switch to night position onwhenever needed. Please rememberthat if you intend to use the camerain the dark, it will only monitor objectsplaced within 6ft/2m of its infraredsensor. Place the Camera in the mostappropriate location for monitoring(tabletop, dresser or wall mount) Point the camera lens toward thearea you want to pick up picture. Make sure that both units are on thesame channel. Check the video reception on theMonitor screen. Adjust the quality of the picture byusing the Contrast, Brightness and VHold adjustment knobs on the back and front of the Monitor. In case of poor display quality,rotatethe antennas or reposition of bothunits to obtain optimal picturetransmission. Connections/Setting up
