Cable Box DVD Player IR emitter IR emitter HIPRE01-RX Receiver IR extender jack Installation and operating instructions for HIPRE01-TX Transmitter and HIPRE01-RX Receiver, both included in the HIP-RE01 Set.1. Insert two AAA alkaline batteries in the HIPRE01-TX transmitter, and place it in the room where you want to use your remote control (up to 20 feet away from where you sit). Place the front of the unit facing you. 2. Plug the HIPRE01-RX receiver’s power supply jack into the back of the HIPRE01-RX and plug the power supply into an AC wall outlet in the room where your TV, VCR, stereo, etc, that you want to control is located. 3. Point the front of the HIPRE01-RX at the A/V device to be controlled, or plug the (optional) IR extender cable into the back of the HIPRE01-RX and attach the IR emitters on the cable to the front of up to two A/V devices that you want to control. LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTYC&A Marketing, Inc. warrants the Hipe Remote Control Extender to be free of defects in parts, materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. Point your remote control at the HIPRE01-TX Powermid Transmitter and press any button. The Powermid Transmitter receives the Infrared (IR) signals from your remote and converts them to Radio Frequency (RF) codes. It sends these codes (even through walls and ceilings) to the HIPRE01-RX Powermid Receiver which converts the codes back to IR codes to control your TV, VCR, etc. Note: The Transmitter and Receiver can be in different rooms, up to 100 feet away from each other. You can add more Transmitters to use your remotes in more than one room. Add more Receivers to control A/V equipment in more than one room.
