All reports for COBALT 011-0014 are applicable to the device Digital Yacht AIT 2000 Class B AIS Transceiver, due to the devices being identical except for in the Digital Yacht AIT 2000 Class B AIS Transceiver where the Cobalt module has been placed into an enclosure. The device Digital Yacht AIT 2000 Class B AIS Transceiver enclosure is made from aluminium material and has been tested for EMC. Test report number B961TR1 applies. EMC testing performed on the COBALT module is applicable to the Digital Yacht AIT 2000 Class B AIS Transceiver device. The COBALT module itself is contained within a fully EMC protected casing, so any EMC tests performed on the module are applicable to the module being placed within an enclosure. All RF testing was performed on the COBALT module and is shown in TUV report number: 75912008 07, iss-2. Radiated Emissions was performed on the module and is shown in TUV report number: 75912008 06, iss-1. And repeated on the fully enclosed product Digital Yacht AIT 2000 Class B AIS Transceiver and is shown in York EMC test report, number: B961TR1. RF Exposure evaluation was performed on the module and is shown in TUV report number: 75912008 08 iss-2 . In addition to the labels or other identifying information required under � 2.925 and � 2.926 of this chapter, each Class B AIS device shall include a conspicuous label that includes: (i) instructions on how to accurately program into the device and confirm static data pertaining to the vessel in which the device is or will be installed; and (ii) the following statement: WARNING: It is a violation of the rules of the Federal Communications Commission to input an MMSI that has not been properly assigned to the end user, or to otherwise input any inaccurate data in this device. Instructions on how to accurately enter and confirm static data in the device shall also be included in the user�s manual for the device. This device operates on AIS 1 � Channel 87 (161.975 MHz) and AIS 2 � Channel 88B (162.025 MHz) with remote frequency assignment capability. This device also has DSC capability.
