Operational Description

Exhibit B – Technical Description 1.0 Product Description: The RTI Bus Scan Transmitter Model BS100TX, FCC ID: OF9-122TXR1 is part of the Bus Scan Child Finder system . This system is intended to be use on school buses to help remind the driver to check the bus for any children that may be left on the bus. When the ignition switch is turned off, the Bus-Scan Child Finder System initiates a buzzer and red LED which alerts the driver that the system has been activated. The driver has one minute to walk to back of the bus and disarm the system by pressing the button on the Bus-Scan transmitter which has been installed in the rear. If the driver fails to disarm the system an alarm will sound to alert the driver or others that the bus has not been check. When the driver presses the button on the transmitter, a 315 MHz signal is transmitted to the receiver which is located is the front of the bus. The transmitter provides a wireless connection to the receiver. The transmission is activated manually and will cease no more than 5 seconds after the button is released. The antenna is internal to the transmitter. 2.0 Block Diagram: A block diagram has been included. 3.0 Schematics: A schematic of the circuit has been included.
