Product Manual PDP 50" Power Supply- Caution Power Supply- Warning Pow er Supply- W arning 2 Safety precautions Do not use damaged electric cord/ plug, or loose outlet. It can cause an electric shock or a fire. Do not use multiple devices in an outlet at the same time to avoid the overload. It may c aus e a fire due to ov erheating from the outlet. Fully insert the plug into the outlet. If the connection is unstable, it may c a u s e a fire. AC plug s houl d not be t ouc hed with wet hands. It may cause an electric shock. It can cause an electrical shock. Be sure to ground the PDP power source. It may cause an electric shock if it has a failure or electrical leakage. Only use the pr oper pow er c or d supp lied w it h PDP and c onnec t it to an outlet with a ground terminal. Be careful not to forcibly bend the electric cords or press them with a heavy object. It may caus e an electr ic shock or a fire. When unplugging the AC cord, pull out by holding the plug itself and not by pulling on the cord. If the power cord is damaged. it may cause a fire. It may cause an explosion or a fire. Do not install in poorly ventilat- ed locations such as bookcas- es or closets. It may cause a fire due to high tem- perature. Do not place the electric cord or t he plug near an elec tric h e a t e r . The coating on the elec tric cords and the plug may melt and c ause a fir e or an electric s hock . Do not put candles, mosquito incense, ci garet te l ighters, a heat er, or any ot her source of heat on or near the PDP. It may cause a fire. The PDP should be inst alled a small distance away from walls or other solid object s in order to maint ain ventilation and to prevent heat damage. Blockage of the ventilat ior with t able cov er s or c urtains can c aus e a f ir e due t o t he increased t emperature ins ide t he monitor. Be sure t o inst all the monitor on a level surf ace. During a thunders torm, unplug t he pow er c ord and ne ver t ouc h t he antenna cable. I t c an c aus e a n elec t ric shock or a fire. Unplug t he PDP if you do not intend t o us e it for a long time. The generation of heat, insulation degrada- tion or the accumulation of dust may cause an electric f i r e . When removing the batter- ies in t he remot e control, please place the batteries in a locat ion out of c hil- dren's reach . It mus t be disposed properly. The plugs and connect ors must be f ree of dust or water bef ore use. It may cause an electric shock or a fire. When transporting the PDP, at least t wo people should carry it. If it is dropped, seri- ous injury may occur. To clean the interior of the PDP, contact your dealer for service. A fire or failure may occur, if it is not cleaned. When moving the PDP, turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord from the outlet. Make sure that the external connection c ords are unplugged (s uch as antenna cable and input cabl es) prior to moving. If the PDP is emitting smoke or an unusual smell, immedi- ately turn off the power and unplug the power cord. It may cause an electric shock or a fire. Contact y our dealer for the service. 5 Considerations for Usage Still image (immovable) screen may cause permanent damage to PDP. 1. Lengthy display of still images from video games, banners, graphics and others may fatally damage the screen. 2. When using Picture-In-Picture, permanent damage may occur if the sub-image screen stays on the corner of screen for a long time. 3. When using the PDP in 4 : 3 formats with sidebars for a long period of time, it may cause damage to the plasma panel. It is recommended that you use 16 :9 or Panorama format. (Image burn-in can be avoided by using "Panel Protection" function or a screen-saver. However, once image burn-in occurs, it may not disappear completely. An image will be dimmed as the image is displayed long time or repeatedly.) Any damage to the PDP caused by improper usage (such as image burn-in) shall not be covered by the warranty. Defectivβ¦

The site is constructed in conformance with the requirements of the ANSI C63.4-2001 and CISPR publication 16. The ETL has site descriptions on file with the FCC for 3 and 10 meter site configurations. Detailed description of test facility was found to be in compliance with the requirements of Section 2.948 FCC Rules according to the ANSI C63.4-2001 and registered to the Federal Communications Commission(Registration Number : 95422 ). The measurement procedure described in the america national standard for method of measurement of radio-noise emission from low-voltage electrical and electronic equipment in the range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz (ANSI C.63.4-2001) was used in determining radiated and conducted emissions from the Erae Electronics Industry Co., Ltd., Model: EPM- 5010.
