American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 October 21, 2005 RE: FCC ID: OW3RM-67_ATCB002878 Attention: Guido Paland I have a few comments on this Application. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please remove the shields from the circuitry in the internal photos and provide photos of the circuitry underneath. 2. FYI – Please note that as of Sept RSS210 Issue 6 has been released. This lates version uses Annex 8 for FHSS devices. Please consider referencing the correct annex number for FHSS devices under RSS210 issue 6. 3. Please note that the part 24 report does not appear to contain the antenna terminal spurious emissions required measurements of 2.1051. Please explain and/or please provide the required data. 4. Please note the part 15B test report only shows the device in receive mode and it is not clear if the phone is transferring data between the computer and the phone. As the 15B report is for the computer peripheral application, the EUT must be tested in a computer peripheral mode and not as a receiver. Please confirm or provide data showing the phone is communicating with the PC during part 15B computer peripheral testing. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.

RE: FCC ID: OW3RM-67_ATCB002878 Attention: Guido Paland 1. Please remove the shields from the circuitry in the internal photos and provide photos of the circuitry underneath. Answer: New document in Exhibit 9 was uploaded. Additional detail photos from board have been added. The document '831_Exhibit09_Internal_Photographs_02.pdf' shall replace the document '831_Exhibit09_Internal_Photographs_01.pdf'. 2. FYI – Please note that as of Sept RSS210 Issue 6 has been released. This lates version uses Annex 8 for FHSS devices. Please consider referencing the correct annex number for FHSS devices under RSS210 issue 6. Answer: Acknowledged. 3. Please note that the part 24 report does not appear to contain the antenna terminal spurious emissions required measurements of 2.1051. Please explain and/or please provide the required data. Answer: The device does not have an external antenna connector. Therefore the conducted emissions at antenna terminal were not measured. Answer: There was basic signalling between the phone and the computer activated during the tests.
