1 Hi my name is Nicky, what is your name? Let’s start our water adventures today. Before operating please read this user’s instruction and playing cautions. ● Nicky Fish Schematics This package includes: Item Product Quantity 1 Nicky 1 piece Antenna Propellers Head cover 2 2 Remote controller 1 piece 3 Controller’s Antenna 1 piece 4 User’s manual 1 booklet ● Installation and Operation A、Remote Controller 1. Remove the battery’s back cover by using cross type of screwdriver. Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Make sure to place batteries in the proper directions. The remote control signal will not be transmitted with wrong batteries direction. 2. Take out the remote control’s antenna and screw it in to the antenna hole on top of the remote controller. Pull out the extendable antenna completely after screwed in. Antenna 1.5v Battery 〝 AAA〞 3 Caution:This remote control is not water proof. DO NOT place it in water. B、Nicky Fish Unit 1. Remove the Nicky fish “head cover” and place 1 AAA alkaline battery inside of Nicky fish body. Make sure to place battery in the proper direction. Nicky will not have any power if the battery is placed in wrong direction. Caution: Do not apply force on the two bottom fins to avoid the possibilities of breaking. Battery Cover 4 Use only alkaline battery for the Nicky unit, other type of batteries will not work properly. 2. Install the Nicky “head cover” back into Nicky fish body. (Do not remove/loose the two O-rings. If the O-rings are not placed back into Nicky fish body the water will leak inside). Make sure the Nicky head cover is aligned with the baseline and fitted tight with Nicky fish body. (The powers will automatic shut down when the head cover is removed) Head Cover Installed Back O-ring 1.5V Battery〝AAA〞 Place "Battery" Remove "Head cover" 5 Caution: Keep Nicky fish and the interior dry. Always remove Nicky “head cover” and the battery when not in use. Put it in a cool place to avoid high temperature and humidity. Function of Remote Controller Key ◆ Forward Key When forward key is pressed, the two motors operate simultaneously and “Nicky” submerges forward in normal speed. ◆ Forward and Left Turn Press and hold forward key and left turn key together, and the motor on the right side will stop operating. Antenna Transmission Indicator Left turn Key Right Turn Key Super dive Key Forward Key Backward Key 6 ◆ Forward and Right Turn Press and hold forward key and right turn key together, and the motor on the left side will stop operating. ◆ Backward Key When pressing backward key, the two motors will operate in reverse phase simultaneously. “Nicky” moves backward and rises slowly. ◆ Backward and Left Turn Press and hold backward key and left turn key together, and the motor on the right side will stop operating. ◆ Backward and Right Turn Press and hold backward key and right turn key together, and the motor on the left side will stop operating. ◆ Super dive Key Super dive key is at the top of the remote controller. When pressing super dive key “Nicky” will submerge in high speed. When pressing right/left turn key with super dive key together, “Nicky” will make right/left turn in high speed too. 7 ● Caution Items 1. DO NOT touch the propeller during operation! 2. “Nicky” may be used in a fish tank, bathtub, small pond which must be generally clean and clear water. 3. DO NOT use it in the swimming pool without lifesaver, seashore, water channel, water pond and water tower! 4. Water quality may affect the operational function and the use life of “Nicky.” DO NOT use it in water with chemical substance, bubble water, salty water, and overly cold/hot water. 5. Keep the interior of “Nicky” dry at all times. In case the interior gets wet, wipe it dry with a towel/paper towel immediately. 6. The remote control is not water proof. It will cause damage if remote control is used in water. 8 7. Remove the “head cover” and take out the battery to keep the interior dry when “Nicky” not in use. 8.
