Press PLAY/STOP button for 2 seconds, the player will power off. For managing your battery life time efficiently, the player will automatically  power off if no buttons are pressed in STOP state. Under HOLD mode, buttons will not work. Move HOLD switch to the direction of the arrow. The icon appears on the LCD screen and HOLD mode starts.
