Question #1: What is the function of head unit that was used during the tests ? Please explain. A1)We just call test box as Head Unit. Head unit is cassette receiver only as below picture. (include that cassette receiver and two speakers) Question #2: In accordance with 15.203 of FCC rules, the antenna connector used by unlicensed transmitter must be unique connector. As indicated in the user manual, the antenna connector used by this device is standard Motorola connector. Please provide the antenna connector specification sheet to demonstrate that this antenna connector is unique. For your information, to comply with 15.203 requirement, there are three possible ways: 1) permanently attached antenna, 2) unique antenna connector, 3) require professional installation. A2)Please see the attached specification. It is unique antenna connector. Question #3 Please provide the antenna specification that used during the tests. For your information, FCC certification is conditioned on which antenna that tested with the EUT. A3)Please know that the antenna connected to EUT is just wire not the specific antenna you think. This information is just to receive the signal from radio station. I could not provide you any specification of this wire since it is just wire. EUT is connected to cassette receiver by antenna connector and this wire's function is not transmission. It is just for receiving signal. Cassette receiver Speakers Box Question #4: 200kHz bandwidth( 15.239(a)) spectrum plots: In accordance with ANSI C63.4 procedures, Bandwidth measurement between 30 - 1000MHz, the Resolution Bandwidth shall use 10kHz instead of 30kHz. Please redo the 200kHz bandwidth by centering the operating frequency with 200kHz wide. Please provide the low and high channel plots. A4)Preparing Question #5 Page 19 and 20 of test report, please inform the instrument setting on this test. ( Peak, QP or Average and RBW ). A5)Preparing Question #6: What does the VR mean in the model differences explanation ? What is the function for Power Switch for model no : MTV-FMKR ? A6)VR: Variable register Power Switch function: Other models are using the relay for On and Off function. But, model ‘MTV-FMKR’ is using the power switch for On and Off function.
