Users Manual

Keep these instructions for future reference as they contain important information. IMPORTANT: Please read all “Consumer Information” before operating your vehicle. CAUTION: Surfaces may become hot and cause burns if electronics get wet. Do not operate vehicle through water or snow. CAUTION: To prevent entanglement, keep all hair away from the wheels. I. BATTERY INSTALLATION (Transmitter & Vehicle) Requires 6 AA alkaline batteries for the vehicle and 2 AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter. Batteries not included. Vehicle 1. Unscrew the battery cover with a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). 2. Your vehicle requires 6 AA alkaline batteries. Install with polarity (+/-) as shown inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace battery cover and tighten screw. Transmitter 1. Unscrew the battery cover with a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). 2. Transmitter requires 2 AA alkaline batteries. Install with polarity (+/-) as shown inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace battery cover and tighten screw. NOTE: Once the batteries are installed the transmitter will always be “ON” and will work automatically the moment you use it. III. QUICK TIPS 1 When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may lose functionality or performance. It’s time for fresh batteries. Your vehicle’s running time may change depending on your driving style. 2 Radio interference can affect your vehicle's performance. Interference can be caused by other R/C vehicles running on the same frequency, electrical wires, large buildings or CB radios. Try to stay away from these! 3 Point your transmitter up - not down toward your vehicle. If your vehicle gets too far away, it won’t work properly. 4 Don't drive your vehicle in sand or through water or snow. If your vehicle does get wet, wipe it with a towel and allow to dry completely overnight. 5 Don’t store your vehicle near heat or in direct sunlight. Always turn switches OFF and remove all batteries for storage. 6 If the vehicle malfunctions, please turn the power OFF and ON again. This should reset your vehicle and let you resume normal operation. V. BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION In exceptional circumstances batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage: • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged (if designed to be removable). • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if designed to be removable). • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Dispose of battery(ies) safely. • Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak. Battery Performance Note: For best performance use regular or high-performance alkaline batteries (where disposable batteries are called for). If your vehicle is supplied with standard (carbon- zinc) batteries for initial use and/or demonstration purposes, we recommend replacing them with alkaline batteries when necessary. Battery life may vary depending on battery brand. VI. CONSUMER INFORMATION Note to Adults: To ensure that the child’s play is both safe and fun, please review all operating instructions and safety rules with your child. Safety Tips • NEVER drive your vehicle on streets! They’re for real cars! • DO NOT pick up the vehicle while in motion. • Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from the tires and the wheel hubs while the vehicle is switched ON. • Adult supervision is recommended when this vehicle is being operated. • To avoid accidental operation, remove all batteries when not in use. Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities. Operational Description

V0098 HW Gymkhana Car 27.145MHz TRANSMITTER OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION The HW Gymkhana Car radio control transmitter is a low powered, hand held unit for controlling the movement of a toy car .The transmitter is powered by 3 volt AA batteries .It is designed to operate on a single fixed frequency in the 26.98---27.28MHz band. See the attached block diagram and schematic. Input switches trigger integrated circuit (U1) which produces the digital control signals which will modulate the carrier signal. The carrier signal is generated by a crystal oscillate circuit comprised of a 27.145MHz crystal (Y1). The RF carrier signal is modulated by the digital control signal from Ul’s PIN RFO . The modulated output of PIN RFO is capacitively coupled (via C7 )to the antenna through a “Pi” matching network comprised of C13、C22 and T1 .The antenna is 350mm long and permanently attached. All tuning and verifications are performed by the manufacturer and there are no adjustments that can be made by the User .No external ground is required or used with this transmitter.

It operates at 27.145MHz and the oscillation of radio control is generated by a crystal. The EUT is powered by 2 x 1.5V AA size batteries. There are a steering wheel and a button on the EUT. When the steering wheel is triggered or the button is pressed, the EUT will transmit different radio control signal to receiver. The antenna is permanently attached in EUT and the radio output power is unable to adjust. The brief circuit description is listed as follows: - Y1 and its associated circuit act as an oscillator. - U1 and its associated circuit act as an encoder.
