Wireless Mouse USER’S GUIDE WINGCOM CO., LTD.  Product concept Thanks for using 'WING MOUSE'. 'WING MOUSE' is specially designed for the people who need extreme freedom from every cord products. And it is specially designed by the people who want to make products free from cords. And it is also designed to fit to many hands - men, women, children. 'WINGCOM CO., LTD' is trying to make better products, and trying to be a specialist of cordless mouse, and later, 'WING MOUSE' will be a standard of cordless mouse.  Contents of package 1. Cordless 'WING MOUSE' 2. Receiver unit 3. 2 AAA Batteries 4. This user's guide  Product specification - ‘WING MOUSE’ adopted digital radio technology, so users can feel free to use within 6 feet, and any direction from receiver unit. - ‘WING MOUSE’ is using soft touch wheel design - 'WING MOUSE' has 100% H/W, S/W compatibility with WINDOWS 95, WINDOWS 98, WINDOWS NT applications. - Easy install : Just plug in receiver connector. And then, use it. - Power : 3V - 2.2V( 2 AAA Batteries ) - Battery life : more than 3 months - Resolution : 400 DPI  Function description MOUSE UNIT (TOP SIDE) - Left button : used for execute programs - Right button : usually used for invoke menu - Scroll wheel : used for scroll screen without moving cursor - RECEIVER UNIT (TOP SIDE) - LED lamp : used for notify user working status and power-on blinking - PS/2 cable : it must be plugged into user's PC's PS/2 interface - MOUSE UNIT (BOTTOM SIDE) - Label for user name : write your name to identify from other man's 'WING MOUSE' - Ball cover : open to clean ball and roller when movement is not correct - Battery cover : open to put or replace batteries (check correct direction) - Foots : 2 foots let user move mouse smoothly and softly  Installation of receiver unit 1. Turn the power off of your IBM compatible PC 2. Plug connector of receiver unit into PS/2 port 3. Turn the power on of your PC. 4. LED lamp on receiver unit blink for some seconds (blinking time is differ from the system) 5. 'WING MOUSE' is automatically detected by the system. 6. Put 2 AAA batteries in 'WING MOUSE', and LED lamp in mouse blink shortly. If lamp does not blink, remove batteries and put again after 10 seconds. If lamp does not blink after 2 or 3 times trial, check battery. 7. After Windows boot, movement of mouse can be easily checked by the LED lamp of receiver unit.  Caution when using 'WING MOUSE' 1. Don't let receiver unit on the floor. Cable can be damaged or some water or dust can damage receiver unit. 2. When using mouse on steel desk, RF antenna sensitivity can be reduced. 3. Use mouse pad for smooth movement and to protect mouse from dust. 4. Place receiver unit as close as possible to the mouse. (within 6 feets)  Cleaning mouse ball For smooth and correct movement and for long life, cleaning is important like car. 1. Open ball cover from bottom side of mouse 2. Take out ball from mouse 3. Remove dust from ball with velvet or soft cloth 4. Remove dust from roller with thin alcoholic cotton stick (do not use benzene, thinner, acetone) 5. Put ball in mouse and close ball cover 6. Remove dust from foot with soft tooth brush  Before you think it is out of order !! 1. System can not find mouse device Check receiver cable connected to system correctly (key board connector is similar to PS/2 port) Check receiver unit LED lamp blink when PC power on 2. Mouse cursor does not move Check whether battery direction correct Press mouse button with looking bottom side 'LOW BATT' lamp lighting (lamp lighting when press mouse button means low battery) Move receiver unit closer to mouse (RF sensitivity can be influenced by circumstances) 3. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. -. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. -. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. -. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. WARNING Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
