descri 1.DOC 第 1 页 共 6 页 The Circuit Description For the Model 02170 ▌Baby Unit This unit is powered by a 9.0V 200mA AC adaptor or 3xAAA standard battery. This unit operates in 16 channel auto switching Time Division Duplex (TDD) 2.4G Digital transceiver mode. ■ RF Part ► Tr an sm iss io n P at h ● Antenna Match The C17,86, L6 and 2.4G dielectric filter F1 are constructed to match the TX antenna. ● RF Power Amplifier The L4,5,8 and Q2 transistor are performed to amplify the RF signal from SPDT RF switch transmission path. ► Receiving Path ● Antenna Match The C5,6, L3 are constructed to match the RX antenna. ● LNA amplifier The C4, L1,2 and Q1 transistor are performed to amplify the RF signal with low noise and then are coupled into the SPDT RF switch receiver path by C11. ► Tx and Rx RF Switch The built in IC S1 is performed to switch high speed the RF signal to connect to transmission or receiver path. Which path can be selected by the “TX_EN” and “RX_EN” signal from the MCU U2. ► Balance to Unbalance Converter The C29~34,L9~11 are constructed to a Balan to Unbalan converter to connect the RF SPDT switch S1 and the 2.4G built in digital transceiver IC U1,which is performed as a transmission path for RF signal. ► 2.4G digital RF Transceiver The built in IC U1 is performed as 2.4G RF transceiver, which is controlled by the MCU U2 via an SPI interface . It operates in 16 channel auto switching Time Division Duplex (TDD) mode. On the transmission mode, the PLL frequency is the operating frequency on 2.4GHz band; On the receiver mode, the PLL frequency is the twice Lo frequency, it should be in 4.8GHz band, which equal to operating frequency – IF frequency, where the IF frequency is 253.90625KHz. descri 1 第 2 页 共 6 页 ► Crystal Oscillation The crystal Y1 oscillates with the transistor built in the RF transceiver IC U1 as a reference clock for U1. ► Power Supply for RF power Amp and LNA The transistors Q3~6 and resistors R5,9 are constructed as a power supply for transmission RF power amplifier and receiver LNA amplifier, which controlled and switched by the “TX_EN” and “RX_EN” signal from the MCU U2. ► Interface for RF Module to Baseband This interface includes the below 10 types signals: “SI”, “GDO1(SO)”, “SCLK”, “CSN”, “GDO0”, “GDO2”, “VCC”, “TX_EN”, “RX_EN” and “GND”. ■ Baseband Part ► Program Interface The interface CON5 is used to download the software into the MCU U2. ► Baseband to RF Module Interface The interface is used to communicate with RF Module. ► Crystal Oscillation The crystal X1 oscillates with the transistor built in the MCU IC U2 as a master reference clock for the total unit. ► MCU Reset The resistor R10 and capacitor C45 are performed as Reset circuit for MCU when the power turns On from Off. ► Test Mode Setting The resistor R40,57 and a external Tact switch are constructed to select the software to operate in normal communication mode or Test mode. Normal is communication mode; when the external Tact switch connect to GND (Pin 28 of U2 is “Low” level), the unit will enter the Test mode, under this mode, can check the Power output value at transmission path and the Min input Sensitivity at receiver path, tune the operating frequency and etc. ► VCO Loop Filter The resistor R11 and capacitor C43~44 are performed as a loop filter for internal PLL of MCU U2. ► Power and Low Battery Indication The Power indication circuit consists of the transistor Q7~9 and Red LED, when the Power is On, the LED will light Red; the LED is flash, when the battery is low than the performed value. descri 1 第 3 页 共 6 页 ► Code Setting The resistor R12~18,20~22,26 are used to set the Code into the software from 000H to 7FFH total 2048 codes ► Microphone Processor The MIC, C52,53,85 are constructed to a microphone circuit couple to MCU U2 MIC Pre-amplifier; The resistors R27,29,30,33,37 and capacitors C54,55,58 are performed as Power supply for external Microphone and internal MIC Pre-amplifier. ► Audio AGC Detection The resistor R19 and capacitor C50 are constructed to a audio signal detector circuit, which detect a DC voltage for internal AGC control of U2 ► Power Supply and Power ON/OFF Control ● AC power Regulator The J4, L11~12, C73, D3, Q10 are constructed to a power source about 5.4V output voltage value; ● Power ON/OFF The slide switch SW1 is performed Power On/Off control; ● 3.3V Stable Power Regulator The built in IC U3 and C65~71 are performed as a stable and Low noise regulator circuit, which regulate at 3.3V output voltage to power for the total unit; ▌ Parent Unit This unit is powered by a 9.0V 200mA AC adaptor or 4xAAA pack 4.8V rechargeable battery. ■ RF Module Part ► Tr an sm iss io n P at h ● Antenna Match The C16, 20, L8 and 2.4G dielectric filter F1 are constructed to match the TX antenna. ● RF Power Amplifier The L6, 7, 12 and Q2 transistor are performed to amplify the RF signal from SPDT RF switch transmission path. ► Receiving Path ● Antenna Match The C8~10, L5 are constructed to match the RX antenna. descri 1 第 4 页 共 6 页 ● LNA amplifier The L1, 4 and Q1 transistor are performed to amplify the RF signal with low noise and then are coupled into the SPDT RF switch receiver path by C6. ► Tx and Rx RF Switch The built in IC S1 is performed to switch high speed the RF signal to connect to transmission or receiver path.
