This module may only be marketed and sold to an OEM system integrator that has an agreement with the grantee and has been provided detailed instructions on installation conditions to ensure that the correct firmware is installed. The module grantee is responsible for providing the documentation to the system integrator on restrictions of use, for continuing compliance of the module including the maximum and minimum antenna gains and antenna type. Only those antennas with similar antenna type and lesser gain filed under this FCC ID number can be used with this device. A minimum gain, including cable loss, that must be at least 0dBi. The maximum gain (3.4) is listed in test reports.
The host integrator must follow the integration instructions provided by the module manufacturer. The host integrator installing this module into their product must ensure that the final composite product complies with the FCC requirements by a technical assessment or evaluation to the FCC rules, including the transmitter operation and should refer to guidance in KDB 996369. To satisfy RF exposure requirements the module antennas must be installed with a minimum separation distance of 20 cm from persons. Users and installers must be provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Co-location of this module with other transmitters that operate simultaneously are required to be evaluated using the FCC multi-transmitter procedures.
