WEATHER STATION OPERATION DESCRIPTION MASTER RECEIVING UNIT The receiving unit has functions of humidity sensing, temperature sensing and forecast of weather of next 12 hours. When the RF switch is on, it will receive outdoor temperature and humidity from the slave transmitting sensor unit. Receiver function is controlled by an RF receiving module which is located on the board strf3403.pcb. The receiving unit can be powered by ìAAAî batteries or 6 V DC power source. SLAVE TRANSMITTING SENSOR UNIT The transmitting sensor unit is responsible for humidity sensing and temperature sensing. Humidity and temperature values are then sent to the master receiving unit. The transmission is controlled by the RF transmitting PCB STRFS2T03.pcb and signals are sent periodically. The transmitting sensor unit is powered by 3 x 1.5 V ìAAAî batteries.
